me watching the last episodes of elementary: it's going to be odin reichenbach on the bridge, sherlock is the one that fell off, he's going to pretend to be dead but will eventually come back!
me: *is obviously right because the episode is titled reichenbach falls and i've read sherlock holmes stories*
also me: i'm so good at predicting this show! wow i know it so well i can just tell what will happen!

Elementary 7x13: Press release LINK Â
To quote showrunner Rob Doherty on Joanlock/Holmes & Watson (from the latest CBS Watch Magazine article]:Â
“The beauty of writing Holmes & Watson is you are watching them do their work and then watching them cohabitate, and allowing that partnership and that friendship to deepen”.Â
To quote showrunner Rob Doherty on the series ending/finale (from the latest CBS Watch Magazine article]:Â
“The series wrapping up is....bittersweet. ... Its the end of the family you’ve put together over the course of seven years. There are no plans to push the envelope with a sudden swooning by either character. There's no romance. But there is great love, and there’s great respect. She loves him like a family, and he feels the same (way).Â
Holmes & Watson (Joanlock) on Elementary are not just partners (in crime). They are much better than that. They are two characters, who love each other (platonically, familially)... always have been. They are the greatest example of platonic life partners in the history of TV (IMO). They are not just (work) partners & roommates & a great “bromance”. They are a family of their own.Â
And yes... bittersweet is a way to describe the finale. The end of the story brings all kinds of emotions. But as sad as some parts may make you feel, I hope other parts will bring you great joy. Because these are Holmes & Watson, and they are ...bound... somehow...Â
THESE ARE THE LAST..EVER...EPISODES OF THE SERIES.Â
The last three chapters of the story. The last three... airing on three Thursdays...starting tonight...
