Anyone have any advice on or even just experience with an Electromyogram (EMG)?
I have one at 1:00 PM (central time) tomorrow, and am kinda nervous.

nerve conduction & emg's
My neurologist moved up my nerve conduction study and EMG to this Friday.
I'm rather apprehensive about it, and since they said meds won't interfere, I'm trying to figure out a cocktail of anti-anxiety and painkillers to take. A little pain usually merits 5mg pain meds or a little anxiety 0.5mg anti-anxiety meds. Lots of pain I'll do 10-15mg pain meds, panic attack merits 1.5mg of anti-anxiety meds. So I'm wondering how to rate this procedure...
I saw a bunch of spoonies saying this was their worse test ever, the most pain especially, and now I'm freaked that I can't handle it.
Had my EMG today. No fun, I mean. Unless you like getting shocked a thousand times and then getting an electrified needle shoved into your arm, hand, and neck. So it was a good time I guess... results next week.
The human body emits signals when in trouble. Catching these signals is called Biofeedback and can lead to a possible remedy
