Several things:
Atsuya's birthday is coming up soon and I haven't even done a drawing for it yet XD
I still feel like Hiroto came out too feminine in this drawing XD
I have several songs related to this ship, and one of them is Peppermint, because it's clearly an argument between them XD
This drawing wasn't made with this song in mind, I just wanted to mention it XD
Someone once asked me what a combined technique between Atsuya and Hiroto would look like, and now I have an idea.
The technique is called Ursa Major (Big Dipper)
It's formed after they pass the ball back and forth, mimicking the constellation, and in the final kick between the two, the bear lets out a roar in which all the stars are flung out along with the ball
I'm not very good at explaining techniques, but that's the idea. Maybe someday I can draw it.
It's based on Hiroto's basic technique, the first one he shows, and the name is a reference to the fact that in English, Atsuya's techniques were translated into Latin, where the bear is called "Ursa."
A genderbend version of Tauya and Hiroto, they are called Atsuka and Hiroko
And there's a normal Atsuya over there on the right, he's just infiltrated (?
I always saw Hiroto as short, so Fem Hiroto should be even shorter

"Field of flowers"
Since childhood, Hiroto has had a recurring dream where he is lost in a field of sunflowers
His body is wounded and in pain, but he keeps walking without really knowing where he's going
Suddenly, another child appears; I can't quite make out his face, but I can hear his words
"Here!"
The boy takes his doll and runs off, leading Hiroto across the field
For a moment things stop hurting and his mind wanders, feeling safe
Just when it seems she can finally see the child's face, she wakes up
Those were the good dreams of the sunflower field; usually that field signifies dizziness and pain. He doesn't know why, but his body gives him the feeling that he's not where he should be, that he doesn't belong.
This was the case until she met Atsuya; somehow she felt that she already knew him, that she had seen him before
Once their hands bumped, when that happened, both Atsuya and he stared at each other for a few seconds
After the game, in his room, Hiroto received a private message from Atsuya.
"Do you like sunflowers?"
A smile crossed her face, and calmly and with more confidence than ever she replied
"I hate them"
Hey! It occurred to me while I was drawing; originally I just thought of them meeting after death XD
Headcanon AtsuHiro!!!
Hiroto likes Atsuya's voice, the problem is that precisely because he likes it, it also bothers him a lot
If he's in a good mood, he can listen to Atsuya talk for hours; his voice inspires confidence. But when he's angry, Atsuya's voice can make him explode with rage
Hiroto believes that Atsuya's voice is better than his own, so the voice for him is a reminder that Atsuya is "better than him" at something he cannot control
Atsuya doesn't focus on Hiroto's voice; he likes it, yes, because it's Hiroto's voice, but it doesn't make him explode depending on his mood, unlike Hiroto's
An example of what this looks like is the following:
Hiroto: I hate everything and I hate everyone
Atsuya: Huh? Are you on your period already, Hiroto-Sempai?
Hiroto: Shut your fucking mouth, pretty boy! — He grabs him by the lapel of his shirt and raises his fist to hit him
Atsuya: What the hell is wrong with you?...
Hiroto: Forget it — He lowers his fist and walks away — Why does it have to sound so nice?
This comes from a fusion of the idea of Japanese and Latin American Spanish voices; I watched the series in both languages, haha
In Japanese they both have a strong voice, but Hiroto sounds more rebellious and not as "cute", while in Spanish it's even more complicated; Hiroto's voice in Spanish is extremely soft and sweet, sounding more like a sad boy than a delinquent boy, while Atsuya still has a somewhat loud tone of voice
Combining these two ideas, it occurred to me that Hiroto actually has a sweet tone of voice, but he forces it to sound rougher, while Atsuya's voice is naturally strong and beautiful and that's precisely what bothers Hiroto: Atsuya doesn't have to make an effort to be one or the other; it comes naturally to him
Hiroto: Then I said to Hitomiko, if you want to boss me around so badly, become my mother. Ah, you can't, because you're just my sister!
Atsuya: Sure, that makes sense
Hiroto: Don't agree with me on something that doesn't make sense!!
