This image was taken using the Skyris132M monochrome camera attached to a Celestron Edge HD 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (2032 mm focal length). For the final image, I stacked the best 3% of a total of 10,000 frames in Autostakkert!2 and also used its inbuilt sharpening option. . The galaxy NGC2903 captured with a focal length of more than 2 meters! 😮😀✨ This, often overlooked beauty is about 20.5 million light-years away and just a little smaller than the #MilkyWay. Also its spiral structure and central bar are very comparable to our own #galaxy.
