I love how EDF5 lets me do derailed yet awesome stuff like spearing an alien tripod in midair
It looks like Godzilla, but due to international copyright laws... it's not.

2021 Most enjoyed Video Games list
Sims 4 - I got a ps5 and it could run Sims 4 when the ps4 choked on it. I also learned about challenges such as the 100 Baby challenge.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition - I never need a reason to play ME games, but this gave me one anyway. I still love it.
Tower Unite - I heard about this game from watching Giant Bomb content and became obsessed. I played lots of mini games, hung out with friends and made an awesome 80s style condo with a Disney’s Haunted Mansion themed basement.
House Flipper (And other flipper type games) - I am unsure when I began playing these games, but I played a bunch more this year. I am still not bored with the genre and will play them all.
Earth Defense Force 5 - There were teasers for EDF 6 in Japan which made my partner and I pick this game back up. We played a bunch until it got too difficult and I managed to get about 7 trophies. We even picked up EDF Iron Rain on sale and had a decent amount of fun with it.
ArcheAge - My partner and I played this mmo in beta, which was very unlike us at the time. I played it here and there since, but it wasn’t as much fun to play alone. Shawn got interested when the game switch to Kakao Games and we’ve been playing it almost non stop for about a month. We have houses and farms, our guild is together again and we’re figuring more out than last time we played.
Disneyland Adventures - I pick this back up now and then when I wish I could go to a Disney park and I can’t. I played this last February and managed to get a dozen achievements in the process.
Unpacking - This one was recent and was under 6 hours, but it’s a game that I hope spawns a new genre. Like House flipper types, this is chill and satisfying to play. The story even made me cry.
Ooblets - I had backed this on kickstarter and had it on epic games since early access. I didn’t play much until recently now that I have a good computer. It’s adorable! I am glad I waited since they expanded and worked out issues since I got it.
I am probably forgetting games, especially if they were on the Switch.
