#edd's day

As I've said before, Edd's death has struck a chord in me but with recent events, it's begun to hurt more. He was a great person and animator. It's a shame that good people die soon. But their memory lives on. Friends, family, and others who knew them can keep the memory alive. Edd is no exception. His show has brought people together.

I think all of Eddsworld's fans know what day is today

Today is the anniversary of the death of Edward Gould, the creator of Eddsworld

BUT

I don't want to be sad today, i just want Edward to know how much we love his cartoon

So i made this draw of Edd

I know that isn't a really good draw, but i'm quite proud of it

I discovered Eddsworld for the first time last year while watching a speedpaint. I found the characters interesting, so i watched the eddisodes.

I loved it, but each time i wondered why people in the comments wrote stuff like : "Edd's died, Tord is hiding, Tom is gone, only Matt is remaining" After watching the eddisodes, i searched for information in the other videos.

When i learned the story, i cried. I felt so sad, he had a lot of chances to get out alive, yet death decided that his time had come.

I'm really thankful to Tom and Matt for continuing the legacy, for continuing Edd's dream.

So umm... This drawing is pretty much dedicated to Edd Gould and Eddsworld.  Edd was a really big inspiration for me and so was Eddsworld.  Without Eddsworld I probably would have never gone out of my comfort zone and I definitely wouldn’t be where I am now.  I’ve only been in the eddsworld fandom for 5 months but it’s felt like forever.  Eddsworld has made a spot in my heart I guess.

Also I just want to say thank you to TomSka for keeping Eddsworld alive as long as he did.  I’m kind of sad that he left but I can understand why he did I guess.
