Certain Eli fans seem to forget that Clare is Eli’s type and that he wasn’t the big “hot shot” at Degrassi he was the weird emo kid who was into theatre who found someone with similar interests who happened to be a girl who matched with his personality challenges him to be better cause Clare is genuinely good who stands her ground of course Eli would fall for that.

So it still disgusts me that people go out of they way to downplay Clare as a character and saying that she’s “Unattractive” is so weird and roots in misogyny like why do people hate on a fictional character so much where they were much more problematic characters including the characters they claim as their faves.
