Oooh the Agent's reunion with Lokin in KotFE is kind of sweet actually
That he still drinks to your memory and remembers you fondly, the Agent even calling him Eckard, I don't remember them ever calling him by his first name before.
And when he asks why you've come to visit you can say you're just dropping in on an old friend and he knows that's not true and calls you out on it but is still flattered none the less.
Their relationship is so important to me. These are two people for whom lying is as easy as breathing and backstabbing is all but expected, but the polite courtesy and even friendship they show each other isn't nothing.
Paper Agent: The Thousand-Year Door I decided to draw Eight and a few of the companions in Paper Mario style, since that's what I've been playing lately! Imagine if the Agent story was a turn-based rpg...

Two new chapters posted for the holiday weekend: Loose Ends and Parlor Games
Rating: M (T these two chapters)
Pairing: Theron Shan/Smuggler
Quick quote from Parlor Games:
Lokin politely smiled. “Have a seat.” He motioned to the vacant seats next to him. “It is so rare to speak to the survivor of an extended carbonite freeze. How are you doing? Psychologically? Physically? Are you capable of … completing tasks?”
Eva, without hesitation, plopped herself down, and she put both of her blasters on the table. “I’m in my prime.”
“With a new main hand, which only makes you more capable,” Lokin complimented her, backhandedly. To that, he removed two pens from his breast pocket.
Then he removed their ink cartridges and revealed them to be syringes.
“That takes some grace; I’d stab myself before I actually got near a target,” Eva commented.
She put some of her explosive pellets on the table.
“Fast exit, as needed,” Lokin noted. “Or to remain and discombobulate. Practical.”
He placed two flash bangs on the table from his lab coat.
Eva and Lokin sat back from the table and stared at each other for a few moments.
Then, in unison, they both reached for their boot knives.
Theron audibly sighed. “He’s a spy, she’s a smuggler. Neither of you have that much time to get it all on the table. Let’s go.”
Eva and Lokin both slapped their boot knives on the table at the same time. “He is correct,” Lokin told her.
“He’s my ops manager. He’s always right,” Eva replied.
Lokin’s eyes briefly darted between the two of them. His lips turned upwards slightly. “How long did this take with him?”
“Are we counting the carbonite or not?” Eva replied. “Years, either way.”
Theron rolled his eyes and then glared at Lokin as the older man chuckled.
he lied, lyingly,
