Xephos was currently an exasperated, soaking wet mess after the latest prank Lalna and Honeydew decided to pull on him- leaving a bucket of water on the top of a door and then calling Xeph into the room to look at something only for the bucket to fall right on his damn head. Xeph had been going off on his two friends for a good minute or two, blubbering like an old man when he finally seemed to be running out of steam.

“I swear to fuck, you two- If you do that again I will throw you both out the window you- what are you doing?" Xephos’ train of thought was interrupted suddenly by the sight of Lalna walking over to the window and looking out. “Hello? Xephos to Lalna you there?” He questioned, a slight hint of annoyance in his tone and on his face.

"Huh? Oh- Checking how high the drop is to see if it's worth it.” Lalna responded calmly, looking up at Xeph with the smallest hint of a shit eating grin. Xeph felt his cheeks heat up as soon as his brain processed the words that came out of the blonde man's mouth- said areas starting to turn blue and glow a bit from the sudden blush. As much as he wanted to be mad at Lalna for that, he found himself smiling and shaking his head at his friends.

“Iiiiiii’m gonna go down back into the mines for a bit-” Honeydew finally chimed in, swinging his picaxe up over his shoulder. “If I'm not back in a few hours come find me.” The two watched as he walked away and once he was gone Xeph turned his attention back to Lanla- who was still standing by the window giving Xeph the biggest and best puppy dog eyes he could.

“You know I can't stay mad at you, right?” Xephos said softly, walking over to Lalna and leaning against the window, facing him.

“I know, I know.” Lalna said softly, looking down at their feet. Xeph gently pushed some of lalnas long, messy hair our of his face and behind his ear, allowing his hand to linger on his friends cheek for a few moments before pressing a gentle kiss to Lalna's forehead. “C'mon- Let's go make sure Dew doesn't get himself trapped in a cavern.” Lalna chuckled lightly, a dark red blush of his own now making its way across his cheeks and nose.
