Here is the real deal. I like strong female characters, the brave ones, the powerful one, the confident ones. But, to me, Lillian annoyingly noisy, she is needlessly stubborn and reckless for no proper reason. Therefore, it is easy to conclude, out of all four of the wallflowers, she is the one I do not like. I like alpha males, the rule breaker ones, the self declared superior ones, the forward thinking ones, the somewhat careless ones in a complementary way. And, here lies my issue with Marcus, he is arrogant to the state of madness, he does not mind for consent. He is egoistic and self declared superior being. Yes, of course his name would be the last one in my dance card. Damn him and his legendary legacy and his vast knowledge. Deep breaths. Inhale. Exhale. Okay. Now, here comes the confusing part of it all. Even though I didn't like the characters and their actions for quiet a bit; I am awestruck to the plot, the pacing, the banter, the enemies to lovers tropes, the unexpected twists, the undeniable tension, the impossibly irresistible attraction. I have devoured it all, till the last installment. It is no doubt delicious, entertaining and exceptionally sensual. Does any of those things make sense? Enough about me, let's talk about you.
