Baked chicken squares are a delicious and convenient way to enjoy chicken as a snack or appetizer. These savory pastries are filled with a flavorful mixture of shredded chicken, cheese, and seasonings, all wrapped in flaky puff pastry.
Ingredients: 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded. 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt. 1/4 cup green onions, chopped. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 375F 190C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Mix the Greek yogurt, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper with the shredded chicken in a large bowl until everything is well mixed. Put some flour on a surface and roll out puff pastry sheets. Then, cut each sheet into four squares. Put some of the chicken mixture in the middle of each square of puff pastry. For each square, fold the corners over the chicken mixture to make a pocket. Pinch the edges together to seal them. Put the chicken squares on the baking sheet that has been prepared. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and puffy. Enjoy while hot!
