Cheesy Mushroom Toast with Garlic & Thyme
Ultimate 1 Spoon* Snack If You Don't Have A Peanut Allergy
Ingredients/Tools:
Jar of Peanut Butter (preferably Crunchy)
Jar of Honey
1 Spoon
(Note: You can also use a fork, butter knife, spatula, your fingers, telekinesis, etc., but I find spoons to be the optimal utensil for this in terms of scooping power, tidyness, and ingredient escape prevention.)
Instructions:
Use spoon of your size preference to scoop out a big glob of peanut butter. (Note: Spoon size preference may be limited by size of peanut butter jar opening.)
Use your thumb to press a dip into the middle of the glob (still on the spoon!) You can also do this with your tongue if you don't want to get pb on your fingers.
Squirt however much honey you want into and around the dip. If your honey has crystallized from infrequent use (couldn't be me), you may need that knife after all, in which case just slather the honey onto the pb like very sticky butter.
For additional security, you can kinda shove the peanut butter over and around the honey. (WARNING: Honey is sneaky and WILL try to flee to Mexico.)
Eat and repeat as many times as you like wherever you like yes even in bed as I am doing as I write this because doggonit it's your peanut butter and your honey** and both are good for you all the science says so and it is ridiculously simple yet delicious, you're welcome, just try to avoid dripping honey on the bed.
*However many metaphorical energy spoons this treat requires may vary by individual, but while I hope it will cost you zero spoons in that regard, I can stand by my claim on the grounds that this involves the use of at least one literal spoon.
**If you happen to share peanut butter and honey resources with other members of the household, maybe get a clean spoon each time and don't eat an inconsiderate amount. Or go buy your own jars and hoard them from the others as like gold in your personal dragon hoard.

Anyone got suggestions for like. Quick easy meals/snacks for when my brain won’t focus for long enough to actually cook something? I often end up eating nothing but cereal and microwave popcorn because those are the only things I have that don’t require effort to make
Pot noodles are good, or mug shots! I also keep a stock of microwavable things, like... I have 2 minute chips, 3 min little pizzas, little burritos... and they’re just things I bought in the frozen section of a supermarket and can take out of the freezer to microwave whenever I want!
