The magazine Wrapped in Plastic is mentioned. Wrapped in Plastic was one of the first sources of Twin Peaks theories and fandom outside of the alt.tv.twinpeaks Usenet newsgroup. It was an actual magazine published quarterly that you could order from them directly, or get at your local comic book store or book store. They did a lot of interviews with actors, writers and crewmembers of Twin Peaks.

VERY niche. Like, most of the content under the #IHNMAIMS tag were just repostings of art done for the series throughout the 1960’s-1990’s. I recall when I began my first blog in 2011 wanting to find a depiction of AM that wasn’t just the letter A on a computer screen. All I located was the drawing that’s my current pfp. Humanoid depictions of AM are a dime a dozen now, but 10+ years ago that wasn’t the case at all.

Also the IHNMAIMS game was still quite an obscure title that was mainly talked about by old school gamers. I grew up on point and click adventure titles so it’s a game I cherished for years. Only being able to discuss it with a couple people was a bit disheartening. I think Nightdive purchasing the rights and making it more accessible to a wider audience really helped.

Honestly, nothing too exciting lol. It was quite dormant. One thing I do miss from back then is the lack of drama and AM simps. Ahhh those were the days.
