Where to find every note on the #guitar 🎸!! Well, this chart shows the first octave of each string. After that, the pattern just repeats. The numbers are here to help you count the frets, marked here with dots. Most guitars have dots on the side and many have dots on the face of the fretboard as well. On most guitars, the dots mark frets number 3, 5, 7, 9, and 12. - - - The first string on the left is the low E string, and the last string on the right is the high E string. (Sorry, I should have put the dots on the left side to be more accurate.) In other words, the leftmost string is the thickest, and the string rightmost is the thinnest. ° ° ° Do you know about how bigger things vibrate at lower frequencies, and smaller things vibrate at higher frequencies? The same way big dogs have lower barks and little dogs have higher barks 🐕 We'll revisit this idea again later too! - - - There is so much to say about this illustration!
