Novak beat Damir Dzumhur 6-1 6-2, won his first official match of the season and reached the second round of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open.

Novak will face Damir Dzumhur in the first round of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha on Tuesday at about 7 PM local time (5 PM CET).

It’ll be their second career encounter. The first one was in Paris this year where Novak won 6-2 2-1 after Dzumhur retired due to injury.

Novak is also playing doubles with his brother Marko this week. They beat Ilkel/Shannan Zayid 6-3 3-6 10-6 and are in the second round.
