Signs and the flags of many nations filled Sir Winston Churchill Square in downtown Edmonton on Wednesday as roughly 200 First Nations leaders, community members and supporters gathered to oppose an attempt to force a referendum on Alberta separating from Canada. Signs read “this is treaty land, honour the land, honour the people,” and “stand with First Nations,” as speakers stressed the ongoing relevance of treaty rights. “We organized this event, you know, to bring some awareness to the non-Indigenous public as well,” said Treaty 8 First Nations of Alberta Grand Chief Trevor Mercredi. “Make sure that they understand that our treaty is here to protect, and that our treaty is not some mythical document.

ICYMI: Bernie Sanders is rallying Americans in R-led and swing districts across the US. He’s inviting fellow progressive legislators like AOC and Greg Casar to speak to Americans who are seeking change. The goal? Raise funds and motivate local constituents to oust Republicans in these narrowly-won districts, give Americans hope, and build a progressive movement.

Over 100K people have attended these rallies, some of which are breaking turnout records…in a non-election year. Check it out:

Kenosha, WI: 4K attendees

Iowa City, IA: 2K attendees

Altoona, WI: 2K attendees (for context, the town’s population is 9.2K)

Warren, MI: 10K attendees

Omaha, NE: 2K attendees (130K+ live-streamed)

Las Vegas, NV: 3K attendees

Greeley, CO: 11K attendees (city’s population is 108K. This was also on a weekday)

Tempe, AZ: 15K attendees (123K+ live-streamed)

Denver, CO: 34K(!) attendees (Bernie’s largest rally ever. Again, in a non-election yr!)

Tucson, AZ: 23K attendees

There’s a palpable appetite for change. We can collectively combat oligarchy, the Trump Admin, establishment Democrats who don’t serve us.

The fight continues.

GPS DATA EXPOSES ASTROTURFING AT DENVER BERNIE-AOC RALLY

That massive Bernie Sanders and AOC rally in Denver? Turns out it wasn’t as “grassroots” as advertised.

Despite claims of 34,000 attendees, GPS data analysis reveals the real number was closer to 20,000—still big, but not record-breaking.

More revealing? A whopping 84% of those devices had shown up at nine or more other protests, including Antifa/BLM events, pro-Hamas and pro-Palestinian demonstrations, and Kamala Harris campaign stops.

Over 30% had attended twenty or more.

Data analysts say the crowd was anything but organic—the majority were tied to activist networks like Disruption Project, Indivisible, Democratic Socialists of America, Rise & Resist, and Troublemakers—all reportedly funded by ActBlue and some receiving backing via USAID.

Optics over authenticity. The playbook hasn’t changed—just the targets.
