🇺🇸 Fear Of by Commitment (Get Better) — hardcore punk
🇺🇸 Let's Give the Land Back to the Animals by Bitter Branches (Equal Vision) — noise rock
🇧🇪 Respect the Hustle, I Won't Be Your Dog Forever by Ronker (Labelman) — noise rock
🇦🇺 Easing Out of Control by DZ Deathrays (self-released) — garage rock
🇬🇧 Cat Fight by Jim Jones All Stars (Silver Arrow) — punk blues
Unsurprisingly, the city of Philadelphia is overrepresented here, with three entries (My Wife's an Angel, Commitment, and Bitter Branches). Noise rock factors prominently. Apart from The Scratch, I haven't really been blown away by anything from the motherland (that Cardinals album was, like... fine.) Looking forward to the second half of the year!
