Looper by Rian Johnson who go on to make Knives out. This stars Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt and Paul Dano. In the far future time travel is possible but in lies in the hands of many nefarious mob bosses can lead to send hitmen back in to time to eliminate a target and then must kill their future self to erase any evidence of time travel. We follow hitman Joe who has to close his loop but his older self is out to find the future mob boss before its he is killed.

This movie does some great thing with time travel which is great take. We also get a bit of body horror in the movie which is great effect with a man losing parts of his body in the past and losing them in the future. We also have Blunt who plays Sara that has to deal with a child who has special powers that can be very violent. Joe's future self lived long life and found love but his lifestyle brings death to his doorstep.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt wear prosthetics to give him younger Bruce Wilis look which kinda looks young Willis. Its a great take on time travel and part of me thinks young kid is the first Jedi or Xmen Mutant.

The score is Nathan Johnson who has done many of Johnson's movies.

Bill and Ted Face the music by Dean Parisot who directed one my favorite Star Trek movies Galaxy Quest. We have the return of Alex Winter and Keanu in almost 30 years to their iconic roles. Also William Sadler returns as death and we have Bill and Ted's daughters played by Samara Weaving and Jack Haven. This Adventure see's Bill and Ted who are struggling to find their hit song that unites the universe and are visited by Rufus's daughter played by Kristen Schaal who takes over after George Carlin's passing. Bill and Ted must find their hit song or all of reality will be destroyed.

Many sequels that return after a long gap always seem fail and almost never get it right. I was very skeptical since I was fan of the first 2 movies but this movie still delivers and is just as fun and funny as previous installments. We also get the return of the classic phone booth time machine which feels like Dr Who's Tardis. We have Bill and Ted time jumping and running into future selves who seem like they are from other dimensions. Then we have their Daughters who are collecting musicians throughout time to help make song unite the world which is kinda like the first movie with the history report.

Meanwhile their is killer robot who was sent from the future which was sent by the future counsel who think killing Bill and Ted will prevent the reality from tearing apart. Which sends many to Death.

This combines some of the story beats from 1 and 2 but is feels very fresh. Its a most excellent movie. This movie did get attacked by trolls who mad that the bill and ted's kids were girls instead of boys which was not big deal and their gender was never stated in the 1991 movie.

The score is by Mark Isham who did the first Blade movie. The soundtrack is filled with many rock bands with that electric guitar goodness which is staple of the series.

Back to the Future 3 by Bob Zemeckis which is the final movie in trilogy. We have Christopher Lloyd and Michael J Fox along with Mary Steenburgen. After the events of Part 2 Doc Brown is sent a hundred years into the past to 1885. Marty has to bring doc back 1985 before he shot in the past.

This came out year after back to the future 2 because both were film at the same time. I saw this in theaters we my family since my dad was fan of the first movie and I grew up with the VHS. This movie gets crapped on for being a western and many fans don't like it. For some time I was indifferent to the movie and over time and watching more westerns I have come around on it and like it a lot more. Marty in all 3 is fish out of water and has to adapt to his environment. This will have many of the gags of the first 2 but with a western twist. We also have love story of Doc Brown who falls for a school teacher who was supposed to die.

It's a fun adventure and conclusion to the series. The director has stated the film will not be remade in his lifetime and won't allow it, along with writer Bob Gale.

The film does feature ZZ Top as cameo and they wrote a song for the film. We have Alan Silvestri who doing the score and gives a classic western theme.
