Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse by a trio of Peter Ramsey, Bob Persichetti, Rodney Rothman who were backed by Producers Lord and Miller. This brings in Miles Morales to the general public, who was only created in 2011 and Ghost Spider who created in 2014 though Gwen Stacy had been dead in comics for some time she was brought back in an alternate universe where she was bitten instead of Peter. This story a loose adaptation of a comic storyline in 2014 and more serves as an origin story for Miles. Kingpin in this universe is trying to find another Wife and son after they died in alternate universe but tears open the fabric of reality which leads other spiderman to Miles's universe. Miles must stop Kingpin before he destroys all of reality.

This stars the voice cast of Shameik Moore who in the movie Dope which was really good, Hailee Steinfeld from True Grit, Jake Johnson from new girl, I never watch but was aware, Nicolas Cage, Mahershala Ali and John Mulaney. The gang of spider people used in the movie had a great showcase of different spider characters from comics like spiderman noir, peter porker and penny parker with robot.

The art style in the animation was new and fresh which has been copied by other animated movies like that TMNT movie. The movie also has also a lot of humor and heart with it as Miles having trouble relating to his father and is closer to his uncle and Peter B. Parker who is in a bit of a slump after his MJ left him. This probably the best Spiderman after Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2. The last movie in this tribology keeps getting pushed back wich feels like a Sony movie just to hold onto rights longer.

There are more familiar voices with Chris Pine, Lily Tomlin,Zoë Kravitz, Kathryn Hahn who is Agatha in MCU and Liev Schreiber who was Sabertooth in a Fox Wolverine movie.

The movie also has great soundtrack and Daniel Pemberton composing the score.

Spiderman Homecoming by Jon Watts who did the movie Clown. This is the 3rd Spiderman in the live action but this time Disney had creative control after his appearance in Civil War they worked out a deal with Sony who is holding spiderman hostage and tanked the last spiderman movie with Andrew Garfield. Tom Holland takes over and joined by Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, RDJ and Michael Keaton. Peter is adjusting to superhero life and new suit from Tony Stark. There is slew of robbers by a bird man who Peter Tries to stop on his own and Tony doesn't Believe him. Meanwhile Demolition worker Adrian Tooms has been using the Alien tech leftover from the Loki invasion for crime and calls himself the Vulture. It is up to Spiderman to stop him.

With Sony not in the driver seat we got a decent spiderman that was on the level of the first Raimi film. This came out during the July 7, 2017 which was during a time in my life were I was having health issues and would have gone to see it, since I saw the first Andrew Garfield spiderman in theaters but skipped the 2nd one since I heard poor reviews. I did see it later on blu ray and did enjoy it with Peter in High School and balancing his life, but can understand why some fans didn't like the heavy use of Iron man and Peter not being in the City of New York. Which also was problem in the second movie as we go international with spiderman.

Michael Keaton plays another Bird person after the movie Birdman which was loosely based on Keaton's experience as he Batman and was Pigeonholed for a few years.

Overall its very funny and Holland has the energy of young Michael J Fox.

The film score is by Michael Giacchino which is pretty good and better than the Garfield score but I think Elfman has best theme.

Spiderman by Sam Raimi who gave us the Darkman. This long awaited Spiderman movie that is based on the Marvel comics had arrived. This movie was had been in development hell for many years and James Cameron was once going to be the director with Leonardo DiCaprio as Spiderman. Those plans fell apart and Raimi tookover after winning over producers stating he was fan of spiderman as a child. A few actors were up for spiderman including Leo, Heath Ledger, and Freddie Prinze Jr. But Sami Raimi fought for Tobey MaGuire. The rest of the cast woud be Kirsten Dunst, Willem Dafoe, James Franco, and J. K. Simmons.

We all know the story Peter Parker gets bit by Radioactive spiderman develops spider powers but since this was modernized the spider is genetically alterted. Peter BFF dad is trying to develope super soldier serum and it drives him a little crazy Its up to spidey to stop him.

I saw this opening weekend of 2002 and I had only 1 more month of High school left. It was a monster blockbuster and promotion for movie was everywhere. I got a toy web shooter from a box of cereal that you filled with water and used it on my friends at school. I had the spiderman movie game on Gamecube which released in April of 2002 and would play that like crazy. What was cool about the Game was that whole cast of the movie recorded dialogue for the game. Tobey is also nerd and gamer.

The movie has a lot of Raimi camera techique and has some minor jumpscares. The sequel would have more. This was 2 years after Xmen and it was just so much more fun and colorful which Xmen lacked because of the director. Raimi would go on to give us 2 more Spiderman movies but the 3rd had much more studio interference.

The score was by Danny Elfman who made a great theme which is stil my favorite spiderman theme.

also the soundtrack featured Aerosmith doing a cover of the 1966 version of Spiderman Cartoon theme.

Also People shit on Nickleback but this song was massive hit at the time.

Loki tv series by some former writers of the Rick and Morty with Michael Waldron and Eric Martin and Kate Herron as director for the first season, while the second season had rotating directors. This follows a variant of Loki after the events of endgame changed the time line and Loki escapes but the Time Variance Authority have other plans for Loki.

This is one of the better Marvel TV series which a lot have been lackluster. The previous Loki died in Infiinty War but the characters popularity brough him back and puts him in time traveling adventure that brings in a female Loki variant who fans don't believe is Loki but is Enchantress who is a Marvel comics character that has same name Sylvie. In the comics Sylvie Lushton is Enchantress and has magical powers.

This all leads to a variant of Kang which I know Jonathan Majors had disturbing scandal. Which for whatever reason Disney didn't just Recast him. I don't understand why Disney didn't just recast the actor they had issues with Terrence Howard and now he is out here making up Fake math. Now they are scapping Kang which seems like a loose end that needs tying up. It its easy to recast and just says he is variant.

Anyways the series still very good and we get dome Owen Wilson.

Also some episodes have really good song choices and a great score by Natalie Holt for both seasons.

Thor Ragnarok by Taika Waititi who takes the reigns after first 2 Thor movies are mediocre at best and Taika having success with What we do in the shadows is what lead him to takeover. This 3rd outing brings back most the same cast from previous Thor Movies like Hemmsworth and Hiddleston but now has a little middle earth infusion with Cate Blanchett and Karl Urban. Also Mark Ruffalo, Tessa Thompson and Jeff Goldblum join the mix. Loki has been running Asgard in Thor absences and is posing as his father but the real Oden summons both his sons to inform them he is passing on and with his passing his sister Hela will airse. It is up to Loki and Thor to stop Hela after being Imprisoned by her father and seeking vengance.

This is the best Thor movie hands down with a good balance of humor and heart. Hela is real threat as she kills a lot of main characters off who were had major parts in the first 2 Thor movies. Thor being transported to Sakaar which is run by Goldblum and makes people battle for his entertainment. Taika's sense of humor was sorely needed in this franchise may have done damage to future Marvel movies where they put in too many jokes and don't know how to balance it out. The Hulk and Thor Duo is very funny and loki and thor's brother bond is stronger after this.

Valkyrie gets a redemption arc after failing to stop Hela eons ago. It is also very colorful with the visuals being way more appealing than the dark desaturated look from the other Thor movies. Taika did give himself a role as he does in many of his movies as Korg.

Overall Very Funny and good story and Villain.

The music is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh who was in the band Devo and has done a few Wes Anderson Movie Scores.
