All I know is that I keep needing to buy masking tape, but the moment I have the opportunity to do so I forget to, and then forget about the project/s I needed it for. Much later, I’ll go visit my parents way out of town when I have free time, and suddenly I’ll remember and start tearing their house apart looking for some until I ask and they remind me they haven’t bought any in forever either, and there are no stores around that sell it.
Then I tell myself I’ll buy some next time I’m in town.

Honestly, now that I’ve actually recognised the pattern, I’m thinking I should just do an online order while I remember and have the masking tape I’ve been needing for much too long just come to me...
Dude, is it me, or did Sandy single-handedly ruin Mike's entire social life? From the moment she came, her presence forced Lucy to repress/deny her feelings for Mike and vice-versa for YEARS. She turned Mike's love for Lucy into such a potent resentment that it drove Lucy to attempt suicide. And recently, Sandy's neglect and selfishness not only destroyed his self-esteem, but fostered such a deep frustration and inferiority complex that he lashed out to all his close friends to a breaking point.
MMMM.............. this is such a like. tasty drama-filled way to look at it, i love it. but i personally think it’s like... a mix? like Sandy WAS a huge influence on how Mike interacted with other people from a very young age, but definitely Mike has his own idiot actions that contributed to the various issues. same with Lucy -- Sandy coalesced many of the issues between Lucy & Mike into one point that was easy to identify/feel resentment towards, but there were things outside of Just Her. still, she has represented or caused many of the Breaking Points as it were
