The massive octopus known as the Akkorokamui sat at the bottom of it's lake, a body of water that would eventually be called Funka Bay. For now though, only nature surrounded it. Nature and one lone man at the edge of the lake. Had he come to pay his respects? Standing in the beast's sacred waters... this creature had destroyed ships for less offensive actions. This human would have to pay dearly, unless it had an offering to bring. Well, the kami was a placid mood. It would give this human a chance to pay it's respects. A single tentacle rose out of the water, breaching the surface as if to mediate for the creature. Bubbles rose from the water as it spoke in a barely understandable tongue. "What do you have to offer me?"

Oleander stifles a yawn, the exhaustion of the past few days catching up with him. He hopes all this craziness is put to a stop by the end of the week. Until then, he's more than a little envious of those who've taken all this in stride.

We had another Kevin a few months ago, before recent Night Vale events such as Desert Bluffs actively getting involved. They worked at Hive City Community Radio (a radio station our then Cecil founded) and freaked Flammelle out.
