I could literally take a picture of it. They were all replaced with self check-out with like one person just watching over like 6 lanes to keep theft under control and to fix any problems like if people are buying paint sprayers. Make sure kids aren't getting high off it, and crap. There's a reason all the old folks started going to Brookshire's. They still have the standard checkout.
Breh i literally work at a walmart, like 5 lanes are open in the middle of the day, up to 9 on weekends.
Self checkouts harm no one, and only help. They make new positions ,since someone has to look over them, and customers with small loads can use it instead of having to wait behind the huge family carts.
And remember, since it was on the post that sparked this: arguing that the superiors will Do Bad Things if the underlings unionize is just an argument for unionizing, not against.
