✘ Jack’s a defense lawyer and he’s a pretty slimey guy but he still tries to be a good dad for her. Harle(y/en) isn’t in the picture too much because she’s very dedicated to her job. They both kinda tend to buy Lucy affections.
✘ Lucy has certainly grown up with a nanny in her life with her parents both working high demand job. This is a good thing because honestly, Jack gets involved in some petty crimes and has spent a fair amount of time locked up. However, he has no felonies on his record.
✘ After big court cases that go good, Jack always takes Lucy out with ice cream and to the zoo to celebrate.
✘ Lucy doesn’t really know what Jack does and whenever she asks Harleen, she tends to talk down on it. Harleen ‘helps’ people where as Jack works on getting criminals off.
✘ Jack has a lot of late nights at the office but every time he comes home, he always goes in and checks up on Lucy. He tucks her in, gives her a kiss on the head and then goes to have a glass of whiskey and look over case files.

Its strange for Harley. Standing there in the door way, looking into the rag tag room that was temporarily Lucy’s.
Its midnight and the thought of an empty bed scared her. Which was odd, since Harley was no stranger to an empty bed, but this time it was different. She’d left J. And to make things worse she’d also given up most of her drugs and cut way back on her alcohol. All for Lucy.
Truth be told it was killing her, she hadn’t slept in three days. It was fine though right? Because Lucy already seemed worlds happier than she was. After all thats why she’d done any of this.... for Lucy.
Blinking back her tears and swallowing her pride, Harley quietly walked over to her sleeping daughter. She ran her fingers through that soft blonde hair and smiled. Yea, it was worth it.
As softly as she could Harley slipped into bed with her daughter and gently poked her nose.
“Hey sleepy, can I stay here tonight?”
Her tone was playful, but her need was actually quite desperate. Harley didn’t want to be alone another night, and she had a lot of time to make up with her little girl.
