OPTIMUS

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧His first priority? Getting you to safety. The others tell him to that they've got everything handled, but at that point, it's background noise. Even when Ratchet opens a ground bridge and takes you from the frozen Prime, all he can see is you, gasping for air.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧He's silent the whole time, sitting by your side and waiting with a blank stare for your eyes to open. And that worries Ratchet, who relays your status to the others to get answers. Megatron seemed to think squeezing you would ignite the fire in Optimus to fight back.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧And it certainly did. It was the angriest the others had seen him, knocking the air out of the warlord before taking you back to base. Ratchet knows Optimus needs some alone time to gather his thoughts, deciding to work on the base computer for the time being.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Nobody speaks to him when they return, instead going to stack the energon they got. Even when you wake, his gaze is unending as Ratchet checks your vitals and asks questions. It isn't until you're moved to his room that he crumbles.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Seeing him cry for you, ask if the pain was too much, if he needed to do something to help, apologizing for letting it happen. It strikes a cord with you, apologizing for getting in the way, but he doesn't blame you. How could he? You were just doing what you could to help.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧It's why you stayed at base, asking the kids when they happened to be out in town to get you whatever you needed. Even after you healed, your stay at base is common. It certainly helped Optimus concentrate, especially when you rest on his shoulder.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧The others do what they can to keep you out of danger, though they trust you can handle your own when saying so. They won't hover, especially with their own tasks at hand. Optimus is thankful for that, eventually able to go on missions after seeing you do fine at base.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Just know that Optimus keeps a close optic on you, carrying you around, tending to you however he can. And when he's on a mission, he makes it known to Megatron that he will NOT hold back anymore. That he should have NEVER brought you into this...

RATCHET

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Optimus had brought you back, looking at his friend with an apologetic look. And Ratchet is frozen, as if the end of Cybertron had happened all over again. It isn't until Optimus speaks that he takes you in his own servos to patch up.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧He knew there was a possibility this could happen, that's why he had learned about human anatomy. But a part of him had hoped he'd never HAVE to use it, that you wouldn't GET hurt. And yet, it happened.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Bulkhead later informs(pressured into) him, that Knockout thought it would be fun to test the durability of a human body. So now, he has a target, and while Bulkhead tries to stop him, one glance from the medic makes him back off.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Once he knows for sure that you'll be okay, Ratchet manages to track down Knockout and leave lasting marks. A fair trade. He wanted to do more, but Optimus had tracked him and denounced his actions. He doesn't care to listen, given his processor is on you.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Ratchet refuses to let you leave the base, even for work. He had already contacted Fowler about it. Doesn't matter if you were recovering in a timely manner, there was no way he would let you leave. You can pout all you want, but it won't change his mind.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Should you try and sneak off, the medic has no problem doing what he has to to keep you next to him. He's your caretaker, why try and go somewhere, where something BAD could happen again! The kids had brought you everything you needed for entertainment.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧If he has to, He WILL beg you to stay, voice broken in a vulnerable state, asking you not to leave him behind too. Ratchet will manipulate your emotions to sway you if need be. He can't lose you, loves you too much to see that happen.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Ratchet may not say it, but he cares about you so much. You're the best thing to happen to him since the war happened. He didn't expect it to happen, but his spark has become yours. He wants his actions, even if a bit harsh sometimes, to show his devotion.

BUMBLEBEE

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Immediately finishes what he's doing and scoops you into his servos before asking for a ground bridge. Bee knows the others can take care of themselves, that they can handle the mission. But right now, you need medical attention, and you would ALWAYS be first.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧The whole time June does her thing, he's pacing back and forth, questioning why he wasn't fast enough to do anything- That vehicon was taken down by Arcee, but had managed to drive away. He wishes he could have done more to them, but that can come later...

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧He clings to your side, carrying you wherever you needed to be, and going with Raf to get whatever you requested from your home or the store. Ratchet has to scold him for wanting to hold you instead of letting your body lay on a soft surface with little movement.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧ So he uses the time you rest in order to find the vehicon. It's a difficult task at first, but when Bee finds them, he makes sure they feel the pain. He can feel the guilt bubbling up, but it disippates upon thinking about what they did to you. Thankfully though, nobody suspects a thing when he returns.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧When you get better, Bee drives you and Raf to your designated spots, and it helps bring you two closer. It does make him happy, seeing you two laugh and talk, but it shouldn't have happened like this... Still, he'll count both your smiles as a win.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Even after you make a full recovery, Bee continues to keep himself at your side, carrying or driving you to places. It gets to a point where he's sent on missions to give you space, and to show that yes, you'll be fine with the others/by yourself.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Bee coddles you for a while, even when things get better. He makes his feelings more known, offering you courting gifts that he read humans like. Even if you see it as him being nice, he takes your happiness as a positive, since you technically haven't said no.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Bee just wants to keep you safe, since you mean everything to him. He's never felt this way with anyone, and given how strong said feelings are, his protectiveness flairs up. So don't expect to be going on missions anytime soon, especially if it isn't with him.

ARCEE

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧In her blind rage, she attacks whoever it was that THOUGHT hurting you was a good idea. Even as the others call out to her, nothing wipes that intense anger until Bee holds her back. Though that only turns said anger to them for stopping her.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧They say they understand her concerns, but what she did wasn't right. But they don't get it! It felt like Cliffjumper and Tailgate all over again... Losing them was devastating, and losing you too- She didn't know if she could recover if that happened...

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Though upon seeing you in Bulkhead's hands, a wave of sadness washes over her as she takes you. Very few times do the team see her so melancholic, and it feels so...wrong. Thankfully Jack arrives to help assure her the best he can.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧He does his best to balance helping you and Arcee, which she does appreciate. And seeing you two together relieves her of some worry when she goes on missions. Sitting around and doing nothing won't help, so she'll use her time to track that vehicon down.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧And when she does? There isn't much to see with the energon being spilled everywhere. It shocks everyone to see just how MUCH damage Arcee did, though she doesn't stick around to listen as she requests a ground bridge to wash up before seeing you.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧The only place she takes you is to work, and even then, is actively trying to get you to stay at base. Fowler already got you time off work, so why go outside? You said you have money, things to keep you entertained, so why? Why risk it happening again?

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧It takes many talks and moments of vulnerability from the both of you to regain some type of space. And given the culprit is no more, Arcee feels a bit better about things. She doesn't want to make you miserable...

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Arcee sees a future with you, and if she has to slay an army of cons to keep you safe, then so be it. Never again will she lose what's important to her. She'll get stronger, as fast as possible- Even if it hurts, or she's pushed to her breaking point. For you, she'll do whatever is needed to keep you safe.

BULKHEAD

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧He feels so stupid for letting it happen! Had promised to keep you safe while you did your task, to make sure nothing happened. But it did. One vehicon he thought was down shot at your back, and the scream you let out froze him.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Though it turned to blind rage as he took them down. After beating the mess out of whoever did the deed, he scoops you up like your glass, and his steps are careful as he heads to the portal. The moment Ratchet takes you, he goes outside to vent his frustrations.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Bulkhead refuses to go on any missions, to leave the base, especially at a critical time. Doesn't matter if Optimus says anything, even Wheeljack- No one can convince him otherwise, and given their small number, they REALLY need him.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧It isn't until YOU ask him to help the others, since staying behind won't help you heal faster. And since you said it'd make you happy, Bulkhead does what he can, though he's much faster on his feet than the others are used to in order to return to your side.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧He recruits Miko to help, though sometimes it stresses him out. She means well, but like what happened with Tox-En, she was helping you with movement. It leads them to bicker a bit, but Miko states the facts that you can't lay around forever!

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧So begrudgingly, he lets it continue, though he does hover. Miko makes light of it, which helps the mood, and you recovering makes his worries quell significantly. It helps seeing you two become closer, so that when he goes on a mission, Bulkhead knows you're in good hands.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧He makes sure you have anything you need, and sometimes, he'll take you on rides to enjoy the scenery and get some alone time. He'll apologize for not being able to protect you, even if you reassure him. The best you can do is let him hold you close...

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Definitely one of the worst to when it comes to hovering, even long after you recover. But given his nature, it's hard to stay mad. He means well, and he does try to keep the mood light, even if he stumbles over his words. Still, it's the though that counts.

WHEELJACK

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Wheeljack didn't expect to care for you so much, and so fast. But there was something about you that made him feel safe. Ironic, given what they're going through, but somehow, you always knew what to say or do to get him back on his pedes.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧So when you're both on a drive amidst the dessert roads, and a group of vehicon decide to fight him? He shows off a bit, and everything is going well. But a missed shot ends up hitting you, and that's when his demeanor completely changes.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧He's so quiet, gentle with his hold on you as he calls Ratchet for a groundbridge. And while the medic wants to scold him, he pauses given you're injured and need medical attention, but also the rather blank expression on Wheeljack's face.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧It's odd to see him so calm, but the others know the only thing on his mind is revenge. Even when Optimus and Ultra Magnus try to dissuade them, all he does is give them a blank stare before going back to clean his weapons.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧It doesn't go away, even when you stir awake. Sure, he smiles and gives his usual teasing, but it just doesn't reach his optics. And once you go to sleep, he gears up to find his target. Bulkhead tries to calm him down, but even that doesn't do much to stop him.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Wheeljack doesn't break a sweat when it comes to tracking down the vehicon, rather, it's simply a matter of HOW he's going to exact his revenge. Muck like Ratchet, it's a scar for a scar, though the body of said con is left to spill energon out. Leaving them alive would have felt like a slap in the face.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Of course, you're none the wiser to his endeavors, given he won't say much about his whereabouts. Wheeljack seems rather laid back about everything, taking you to your home to relax or get something from the store once you recover, but work and anything excessive is a big no no.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧There's no point in trying to argue, since the guy won't budge. He doesn't want to cage you in and make you sad, but he can't let you go too far. Wheeljack can't afford to lose anyone else, especially you, so forgive him if he's a bit clingy now, okay?

SMOKESCREEN

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Smokescreen never imagined falling for a human. Heck, he didn't think he'd ever be on Earth! But he chalks it up to his destiny! Working with Optimus Prime, helping fight against the Decepticons, meeting a very cute human ally, what more could he ask for?

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Your safety should have been an easy task for him! Get in, get out, easy peasy! So why was a vehicon able to grab you? Why did he freeze up? It isn't until he hears your pained cry that he knocks the enemy down and runs off with you.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧He's torn between staying by your side and driving to get away. He hates seeing you unconscious, laying so still, almost as if already dead. It's the most anxious the team had ever seen him, so Optimus offers to drive out with him, but even THAT doesn't do much...

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧The moment you wake up, he's hovering over you, offering to get anything you need. He's a bit clumsy with it, but seeing how hard he's trying brings a smile to your face, one that makes him feel both better and worse.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Smokescreen isn't one for mindless battle, but rather show off and make a show of it, to prove he's a good fighter. But since it pertained your well being, he doesn't mind getting a bit dirty to avenge you! For once, he goes incognito mode, and tracks down the vehicon.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧You don't think otherwise as he retells the story with a grin. Of course, he leaves out the more disgusting details, since he doesn't want you to feel sick. A part of him does feel disdain for his actions, he's supposed to be better than that, a hero!

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧But seeing you smile, hearing your words of gratitude make all the doubts fade away. Now, Smokescreen's only concern is making sure you recover the best you can. Sure, he hovers a bit, but does his best to give you your space.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧He still goes on missions and drives you out of base, which does surprise the others. As much as Smokescreen wants to keep you safe at base, he doesn't want you to be trapped in one place. He just wants to see you smile, happy with thoughts far away from the incident.

ULTRA MAGNUS

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Strict, calm and steady. That's how Ultra Magnus has always done things. It keeps everything neat, in line and for him to account for, especially in battle. Where anything can be taken away by the snap of a digit. But something about you made him open up.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Not immediately, but more quickly than he would others. And that was what he considered his first mistake. Letting his emotions get the better of him rather than putting 100% of his focus on the task at hand. And not only that, he blames it for your accident.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧He just wanted to have you nearby, to look after of course! But a vehicon had gotten close and grabbed you a bit too hard, threatening your life. Magnus froze for a moment, and in a sudden burst of anger, managed to deal with the enemy before taking you back to base.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧The others see his usual stoic expression, but those who REALLY know him can see his processor is somewhere else. He's always had mixed feelings about humans, so fragile, rude even, but you had always confused him the most. Such beauty and fight in that small vessel of yours.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧After thinking upon the advice he gained from Ratchet and research he did on his own, Magnus came to the conclusion that he was in love with you. A concept he never anticipated happening, So, he does the best thing he can think of: ignore it and by proxy keeping his distance from you.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧The second in command still makes sure you're okay, asking the usual questions of your health, but it's directed to Ratchet. The others raise an eyebrow at his behavior, but it isn't too out of character. Rather, it's the disbelief and hurt on your face that makes things a bit...tense.

⊱⭒˚.⋆✧Ultra Magnus doesn't believe it can work, given the multiple differences between the Cybertronians and Humans. But emotions are such intricate things, and he finds it hard to stay away. So he goes with another plan: winning you over.

Optimus Prime. Yup, ironically enough, you were saving him for last. There wasn't any real reason, other than it felt oddly fitting for the big guy himself to complete your unfinished set.

Unboxing the toy, you can't help the beaming smile that grows on your face as you hold him in your hands. Is it too dramatic to say that you're cradling him the way one cradles a sacred idol? Or perhaps a precious gem that you intend on treasuring? Probably. But you can't deny that there's something reverent in your touch as you place him down with the rest of the figurines on their dedicated desk.

Yes, dedicated desk. These guys have their own desk that you use to display them. The entire thing is covered with your figurines, one side belonging to the Autobots, and the other, the Decepticons. All lovingly handled and placed with the care of an artist painting their muse onto a canvas.

Setting down Optimus between Bumblebee and Ratchet, you take a step back and bask in your fully completed Transformers toy collection. The surge of pride and satisfaction fills your every vein. You're pretty sure this is how Greek sculptors feel like after finishing a statue.

Grabbing your phone, you snap a few photos that afterwards, you deem good enough to share online. Might as well share your excitement with everyone else, right? You type out a caption for your post and begin to make your way out your room.

Buuut not without casting one last glance to your toy-filled desk. Gotta get at least one more dopamine hit before you go.

The missing piece in your puzzle. The last one to arrive.

Your gaze sweeps over every Autobot, Decepticon, even the niche characters you managed to snag, and your chest puffs out in fulfillment—before your eyes land on Optimus Prime.

Your pause mid-step, lingering in the doorway.

... For a second, a brief second, there's a fragile silence in the air. Like the entire room went still, holding its breath. Waiting. Watching.

........

Then you turn around and step out, shutting the door behind you. Oblivious to the earlier tension in the room, if there even was any. Pocketing your phone, you idly think about what to eat for dinner later. Something affordable, probably. OP wasn't exactly cheap, after all!

In the meantime, you settle on your couch and turn on the TV for some mindless entertainment. Sighing contentedly, you lean back into the cushions and relax.

Today really is a good day.

Back in your room, the tiny finger of Optimus Prime twitches.

Noise is what wakes you up.

Weirdly enough, it's not the sound of your show (which has long since been replaced with some kind of reality TV episode your grandma would watch), nor is it the low buzz of your phone telling you your order is on its way. What actually woke you up was the soft thunk of something hitting the floor.

You strain your ears, wondering if the sound was a sleep-induced auditory hallucination. Did it come from outside? But it can't have been—it was so close. A pin dropping in silence, so to speak.

It almost sounded like... It came from your room.

...Wait.

Your room.

Adrenaline zaps you awake. If that weird sound didn't send you into high alert, that realization did.

Because that means someone could be in your room. With your figurines.

Oh HELL no.

You don't care if it's a thief or a stray animal that somehow got into your home. If they even put a singular FINGERPRINT on the toys that you PAID FOR, you are committing a murder.

But wait. Let's not get too overzealous here. On the chance that there is a thief in your room right now, you can't just burst inside unarmed. You love your collection, but you also love not dying.

Slowly, you get up from your couch, making sure to grab your phone and put it on silent. You sneak away, trying to find some kind of weapon to use. A kitchen knife will have to do. Do you know how to use it? Not really, but maybe your fight or flight instincts can take over from there.

Hefting the knife in one hand, and your phone in the other, your thumb hovers over the final number for the police if things go wrong. You might be a bit paranoid right now, but you also don't really care.

Creeping towards the door to your bedroom, you listen in. You don't really hear...

Inhaling deeply to calm your nerves, you brace yourself.

No wait- there is something. Voices. A lot of them. And apparently, they're getting into an argument. But they sound... Distant?

They're definitely inside your room, but these guys must be the quietest fighters ever or something, because wow. You're not sure how someone can yell a death threat and sound so small.

Here goes nothing.

Bursting through the door, you point the knife in your hands in what you hope is a threatening manner, scowling hard.

"If you even put one hand on those figures, I swear I will fucking-"

Then you stop. The rest of the threat chokes in your throat as you survey the scene.

Your toys. The Transformers. They're...

They're moving.

They're all frozen now, staring up at you with wide painted optics. But you saw their heads swivel in your direction when you burst in. Not to mention the fact that they're all scattered throughout the room right now; some on the floor, some on your bed, some are on the other separate desk that you use for storing non-transformer things.

They all look like they're in the middle of a battle. A toy sized battle. In your room.

Moving by themselves.

"Um," One of them speaks up. Your eyes snap towards... Optimus Prime. Who seemed to have frozen in the middle of fighting Megatron, who's gaze flickers from you to him.

You stare at them all, speechless. Autobot, Decepticon, even the niche characters– you look at them and they look at you.

What?

"Please don't be alarmed," Optimus tries to assure you. Hearing his deep voice come from a toy made out of plastic is surreal. "We mean no harm to you. We-"

He glances around and realizes how contradictory his words are. And for the first time... You see Optimus Prime falter.

He looks up at you.

"We will explain."

...Oh boy.

This is the type shit I be doing instead of homework dawg wtf 🥀🥀 THIS MIGHT BE THE MOST I'VE EVER WRITTEN IN TWO DAYS I'M GONNA BE FOR REAL.. WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE ROBOTS DOING TO ME!!

Megatron:

— He's not sure what to feel about it. At all. On one hand, he absolutely despises having to crane his helm up to see you. The warlord wasn't used to it in the slightest at the start and it took a long time to get accustomed to it. After all, he's usually the biggest mech in the room.

— But at the same time, he believes he deserves the best. A bot who can match up with him when it comes to strength and dominance, he finds it more thrilling that way. So he isn't exactly upset about it.

— Just because you're his s/o doesn't mean he'll be soft on you in public! It's hysterical to watch him bark out orders as he's tilting his helm up to meet your gaze. And don't you dare hunch your backstruts down to make it easier for him! He will visibly scowl. It's like you're insulting him for being short when you're just too damn big!

— Pick him up? Don't be ridiculous! He will never let anyone pick him up. Even if you were Primus himself. The only time Megatron willingly lets himself get carried away by you is if he's that injured. Even then, the best you can do is support him as he limps.

— But him, carrying you? Oh ho ho ho. He has the exact opposite feeling about it. Megatron loves it. It's like he gets to show off just how strong he is and he is insanely strong. He loves having you full on bridal style in his servos with a look of disapproval as he's got a cocky smile flashing right at you.

— If you try to surprise him, his battle instinct will flare and he will absolutely one hundred percent accidentally hit you smack across your helm and send you flying half way through The Nemesis. Megatron would be baffled you even attempted such a thing and might even feel a little bad about it.

— A bit NSFW but Megatron will love the idea of dominating a bot bigger than him, the ego rush he gets is gratifying. Also will fold like a lawn chair if you try seducing him.

— Now if there is a sparkling involved and said sparkling is bigger than him? Again, very, very mixed feelings. It was like yesterday his little starlight was just up to his hipstruts, begging to be carried up with wide optics and now he has to look up at them? Megatron is going to look at them and just zone out sometimes, how much have they grown… How quickly has time passed? But they're still not fully matured yet, so they're still his ‘little’ starlight… but they're not little anymore and it physically hurts his spark when he thinks of it.

— However, he is really happy to know that his child is intimidating and scares others. It makes him feel proud. It's like living up to Megatron's name. But because of that, he might have some skewed expectations of his sparkling. He's like a strict father in every sense of the word and he's got targets he would want them to meet.

— Imagine his amusement when his overgrown Cybertronian equivalent of a twelve year old frightens the wits out of Starscream. Proud fatherly tears, if he could shed any.

Soundwave:

— Soundwave has absolutely no issues with it in the slightest. If anything, he actually likes it. More area for his data cables to wrap around you.

— He also doesn't really mind being picked up by you. Like he won’t say he hates it or likes it, he's indifferent about it mostly. But he absolutely hates it when you pick him up unwarranted. He does see it coming but he doesn't have any way to avoid the inevitable. If you do it in front of others, expect a ‘no-interaction-with-you-for-sometime’ treatment.

— Soundwave quietly enjoys being carried back-pack style. He's got a lot more visual feed now and it doesn't get tiresome for him to hold on since his datacables play their part in helping him out with his grip. Again, he won't admit it outright and you will struggle trying to get any admissions from him.

— This mech actually likes it when you hunch down for him so that he can communicate with you better. He knows you're just being considerate so he doesn't hate it. You have no ill intentions. And he can tell when you're trying to mock him so it's really not a huge deal for the guy.

— I think Soundwave would try to lift you up with his datacables at least once to try and return your treatment and it ends up with the two of you as a tangled mess of limbs and data cables. Never again.

— This also means Lazerbeak has a nice spot to perch on, your paldron. He's going to be sitting there like those pirates and their parrots, like a crow on a lamp post.

— A bit NSFW but like I said earlier, he gets a lot more area to wrap his datacables with. More… opportunities.

— Again, he has absolutely no quarrels with his sparkling being bigger than him. I think Soundwave would be a girl dad. Like it doesn't matter how much bigger or stronger or smarter they are; they will ALWAYS be his baby. His brightest star. Of course, Soundwave wouldn't outwardly baby or pamper his sparkling but the thought is always in his helm no matter what size they are. So even if there's a minor injury involved, he's going to sit you down and patch them up like he used to when they were tiny. Soundwave is more of an action type of mech.

— Totally expects his sparkling to hunch down so that he can give them helm-pats. Soundwave strikes me as someone who would definitely give headpats as a sign of approval, affection and as a sign that he's proud of his literal child. Soundwave will just stand there and expect his sparkling to do so.

— Lazerbeak will sit on the sparkling's helm as they walk around. Sort of like a monitor.

— He's actually a really good dad. Even if he usually always busy he still makes time for his kid.

Starscream:

— The bombastic Starscream, where do I even start? He used to be very intimidated by you. Extremely. You're hovering over him like you're some sort of all seeing eye. It used to creep him out.

— Even after all your time being together, it will still unnerve him sometimes when you just stand behind him and look down at him but it's also kind of… hot.

— He will hiss like a cat if you try to pick him up. And if you try to pick him up by surprise, he's going to let out his embarrassingly high pitched squeal and then proceed to grumble while you make fun of him.

— But the thing is, Starscream actually likes being picked up unlike Megatron who genuinely despises it with all his spark. It's just Starscream's pride not allowing him to admit it, telling him to resist the allure of your warm servos and comforting EM field. If you are going to pick him up, make sure it's a bridal style. He's less grumpy about it that way.

— He doesn't even attempt to lift you up.

— One thing he does like is the privilege one gets when they have an intimidatingly tall s/o. Oh, you're trying to beat him up? He's running immediately to you. You give him scary dog privilege in a way and Starscream isn't ashamed about using it. He'll nervously laugh as he stands behind you as if you're a shield.

— A bit NSFW, just like Megatron, Starscream too finds it appealing to dominate a bot bigger than himself. But it also makes his submission feel oddly thrilling.

— If there's a sparkling involved, Starscream is going to be utterly disappointed when they turn out to grow bigger than him before they fully mature. His wings droop and everything. He remembers back then when he'd have this baby plane flying right next to him back when he used to take them for regular flight practice… and how they'd marvel at his flight stunts. If his sparkling gets cocky with him, Starscream will not hesitate to hit them with the: “just because you're bigger doesn't mean you can talk back to me like that!” while they blow a raspberry at him. Starscream knows it'll get to their helm and he hasn't the faintest idea on how to discipline them.

— But a part of him is relieved. An intimidation factor means that bots are less inclined to pick a fight with them and height plays a crucial role in that so at least his kid is safe from getting into too many fights… However, since they're his, it's likely that they're the one to start the fight.

— Unfortunately has to rely on his sparkling to get things from the top shelf. He's got a grimace while the sparkling is all smug about it.

Shockwave:

— Much like Soundwave, he is mostly indifferent to it. He doesn't even feel emotions to begin with, or so he claims. Shockwave thinks of this in a ‘pros & cons’ way. Logically.

— If you can pick him up, it's a miracle because he is a literal tank. He will be surprised and Shockwave will definitely be intrigued, he would want you on his examination table because that is not normal. While the slight fuzziness blooming in his spark is foreign, a part of him doesn't actually mind you carrying him at all. If anything, he finds it highly convenient because that means you can easily escort him out of an area quickly in a situation where he's severely injured himself.

— When it comes to what he really feels about it… he doesn't exactly like it. But it's mostly because he's not used it. However, once he does get used to it. He's going to be reading some or the other scientific journal as he's being piggy-back carried by you, it's a part of your exercise routine now.

— Shockwave, surprisingly, could have picked you up if he had both servos but unfortunately, he doesn't. If he did have both servos, he would be able to hoist you up for a while actually.

— One thing he does enjoy the most is the fact that this means he can make even more custom upgrades and mods for you since you might have a hard time finding any given you're not in any of the regular size classes. Shockwave enjoys making things for you.

— Also, this makes you the ideal lab assistant because you can just reach over and stretch to get things that Shockwave would need to walk and get. He likes that a lot.

— Now, the chances of Shockwave even having a sparkling is slim to none and if he did, 10/10 chance it was a lab accident. So things between the sparkling and him are already kind of awkward.

— He is very, very indifferent about his sparkling being taller than him at some point in their life, even if it's before they fully mature. If anything, he finds it to be an opportunity to study gigantism in Cybertronian sparklings. But a part of him, a very small part of him will miss the little hellspawn that would tinker around in his lab and mess with things. Mostly because he found it amusing. However, at least he doesn't need to clean up any messes in his lab anymore.

— I feel like Shockwave would stack up a ton of datapads on sparkling psychology and growth so he would be surprisingly prepared to deal with this.

Knockout:

— Knockout is foaming at the mouth, on all fours, optics popping out of his helm, howling at the moon, steaming from his vents and fanning himself. In short, he likes them strong and dangerous so out of everyone here, he is the happiest with an extremely tall s/o. He's got a thing for big and strong. Real heavy duty.

— Knockout would feel very, very cocky because his s/o is amazing and kinda scary in his optics and just like Starscream, it gives him scary dog privilege. Someone to run to if he messes up. I also feel like Knockout would be a flirtatious and smug iteration of a wife-guy. Someone could be talking about their partner and Knockout would go “Yeah but my s/o can-” *proceeds to say why you're better*

— Endless flirts directed at you as he's craning his helm up with a smirk to meet your gaze, Knockout doesn't mind. Besides, he's got something to soothe his neck at the med bay. So flirtatious, it'll get you absolutely flustered because you're basically the embodiment of his type.

— He's the happiest out of them all to be picked up. Public or not, Knockout really doesn't care. Hold him anyway you want to. He enjoys your servos on him, being in your embrace and the comfort of your EM field.

— Again, much like Starscream, he isn't going to even try and pick you up himself. He's happy in your servos. Knockout will let out a squeal just like Starscream if you sneak up on him though and he will give you a peace of his mind for that but he won't resist your embrace.

— Knockout having a sparkling is purely because he messed around a little too much and ended up having to be a parent.

— Knockout has absolutely no clue how to cope with his sparkling being bigger than him. He kinda can't even believe they're his internally for a moment because he does not have this sort of coding in any of his programming modules. Regardless, he would be trying his best and is actually pretty decent at taking care of a sparkling.

— He typically avoids sparklings but as a not really licensed medic, he's come across many so it's no big deal. But he does struggle at disciplining his sparkling. Knockout does miss it when they were just a tiny terror violently giggling, running around his medbay with all his tools in their little servos as the red race car had to chase them down while yelling at them. But now he’s breaking his neck here.
