While the transition was underway starting on February 17th 2009 and ending on June 12th that same year, Vee (Vee did not upgrade to DTVee at that point)started to feel pain. On the first day, she hardly felt anything, but as more channels disabled Analog broadcast forever, her pain started to become more and more unbearable. Bu the time June 12th came around, her pain was unbearable. She was constantly on the floor shaking and crying in pixels, just begging to make it all end. She couldn’t even move. Her pain seriously hurt to the point she got temporarily paralyzed. The converter box wasn’t attached to her until the 14th-15th. Once the last analog channel shut down, Vee essentially was dead for those days until she got her converter box. Dainty Brightney was always by her side, even after Vee’s signal was lost.

…And then the next decade it becomes a big JOKE. DTVee LOVES joking about the whole ordeal like it was nothing.

Uhhh here’s some context

Sometime in 2009 (more specifically February 17th to June 12th), Analog broadcasting (the kind Vee would otherwise receive) switched to exclusively Digital broadcasting (or DTV broadcasting) because the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) said so in the US, and uhhh… that’s the simplest way for me to tell you how the DTV switch happened XD Canada and the UK followed suit in the following years, so if you HC Gardenview as being from there, Vee also would’ve lost her signal :[ Although I HC Gardenview as being from the US, so Vee lost her signal in 2009, poor Vee :[

I decided to redesign her with a converter box at the top of her head but below her antennas, gave her bow tie some strings (they look like analog signal waves!!), made her limbs bendable, gave her some stylish star boots (with the DTV ready checkmark on them ofc), and gave her a loose wire, which has a DTV ready checkmark on its end too!!
