Charlotte lingered about until she had to lean against the bar. She clearly did not think this outfit through. How Olivia Newton John was able to dance in the thing was beyond her. She could barely stand a few moments let alone do a jive in it. Although she had to admit she and Edward looked amazing. Black was absolutely his color. Hers not so much but the red was making it pop. She looked out over at the crowd while speaking to the person beside her, “Enjoying the party thus far?”

Everything was going smoothly as the game started. People was having fun and they were trying to guess the main game’s killer...until it wasn’t a game anymore when she went to check the ‘dead man’ yet...this one was actually dead. Elizabeth’s heart stopped for a moment and all she could hear was people screaming and shots from guns mixing up with the screams. Her first thought was Lottie. She started to look for her but she couldn’t find her anywhere until she saw her lying on the floor, blood surrounding her but Spencer got her, but that didn’t let her move...she kept staring at her sister until she felt something hitting her back, making the shot throw her on the floor and lose consciousness.

As soon as Charlotte arrived at the club, she immediately dove into work. Getting everything prepared for the event wasn’t a hard task since they were her favorite thing to do for the club. She didn’t like not being able to arrive with Edward but then again they were still just friends. Her feelings were out in the open now but he was still not a free man.

Charles had finished his other business before going to the club. No matter what he always seemed to piss someone off for the day. The man had more enemies than he did friends. It was why he didn’t accept people into his life easily. Chewing on the toothpick absentminded, he didn’t even notice the taxi had stopped. Throwing some bills up at the driver, he stepped out buttoning his coat and headed inside. Charlotte had really outdone herself. Of course what did he expect? She had come from a socialite family. This was something ingrained into her being. Grabbing a flute from one of the waiters floating around, he tossed it back before turning to the person next to him. “Place isn’t half bad.” He was able to appear as a client and nothing more. That was something that appealed to him. His inconspicuous nature benefited him in multiple ways. “Haven’t seen you before. A face like yours I know I would have recognized.”
