Drunemeton presents “Dweller of Carcosa”, a new full-length album of Epic Blackened Heathen Metal. Rooted in the spirit of Ancient Rites, Bal-Sagoth, Menhir, Thyrfing, Borknagar, Blind Guardian, Månegarm, Suidakra and the old underground metal tradition, the album combines blackened melodic metal, pagan atmosphere, heroic songwriting and old melodic death metal energy. Conceptually, “Dweller of Carcosa” leads the listener into a realm of exile, ruined cities, forgotten names and dead stars — a final refuge for the nameless souls erased by history. Inspired by the echoes of Ambrose Bierce and the King in Yellow mythos, the album transforms Carcosa into a symbolic afterworld where the fallen, the wandering and the dispossessed gather beneath an alien sky. A work of pagan mourning, heroic melody and blackened fatalism, “Dweller of Carcosa” marks one of the most focused and epic chapters in the Drunemeton discography.
