I remember the Enterprise flying through the clouds! ☁️ Also, it marks the first use of the slingshot effect! ☀️ Brief Summary: The Enterprise is flung back in time to Earth during the 1960’s. Thoughts: Okay so, we start out at an Air Force base where the Enterprise is spotted on their radar as a UFO. Kirk reveals in his log that the Enterprise was trapped in the gravitational pull of a black star. When they reversed at full warp, it snapped back and hurled them to somewhere unknown. The crew recovers from the incident and can I just say I love the way Spock picks up Uhura and plops her back in her chair 😂 Anyway, she says she’s getting nothing from Starfleet command, just static. There’s something else, a radio show about the upcoming man moon shot, which took place during the 1960’s. They realize they’re in the past 😱 (with no idea how to get back). Just then, they see an aircraft in pursuit of them, but the Enterprise is still damaged and can’t get away fast. They lock onto the aircraft with a tractor beam, which tears little craft apart, but they beam the guy out in time. Great, now this guy is on the ship lol 🤦🏼‍♀️ He introduces himself as Captain John Christopher, and is severely spooked. Kirk takes him on a tour and talks about a United Earth and it makes me happy 😌 Also, he tells John that they’re from the future! John meets Spock and he looks a little freaked out but honestly I was expecting way worse lol Privately, Spock tells Kirk his concerns about John, how he already knows too much 😬 They give John a starfleet uniform!
