Both have a warped and corrupted view of each other. Nm is the one whose corruption is the most obvious, taking the worst of it with all the apples. Dream, too, is corrupted in a sense, imagine the apple gives them a singleminded focus to force positivity onto the multiverse, to rid it of all negativity (maybe so Nm would come back?). The poor apple is overcompensating.

Nm truly thinks the dreamling is actually the last part of their sibling that’s alive. They view Dream as an impostor, a hollow apparition meant to mock them with their “I will find a way to save you” or “If you are there, somewhere, I will get rid of the poison that is within you now.” But that just can’t be. That thing is gone. They are back, no? They surely won back then.

All Dream sees is the corruption, not knowing that Nm is still there, if barely. They hate that thing that has caused them all trouble for far too long. But Dream knows there must be a way to bring Nm back, somewhere, without purgin all negativity of the multiverse (they still got some sense...).

You can think of this concept as them both being, in a sense, in disarray. They have no balance between them because they weren’t made for the roles they now have, just to guard, not to balance. This was forced upon them out of sheer desperation. So both can easily tilt into a rather black and white worldview.

That's such a cool idea I went wild with it!

These globes can vary of size! Think of like the marble universe that was in MIB, I think these would be a gamble to keep them up as they are NOT cheap of magic consumtion and a BIG RISK to even atempt to make one, you would need to have some influence in codes, a strong will, magic ouput and knowledge on both codes and space to seal a bit of a place in it. So far the only one to have a 100% rate is ink (because OFC) and Nightmare, only have tried once. To fail would heavly damage the one who atempet and the area they tried to seal away. High risk high reward. Also the reason Nightmre didn't encounter any dreamlings in their life is because these tend to inhabit rather happy aligned AU's and AT's, so this one that was in one of the most negative ones was, a miracle I supose. Since Night often keept in more negatie ones before Dream fully reformed and made their apearance known in the multiverse. And to answer the rest: To keep one permanently would be dificult, they wonder and help to encourage some AU's to keep happy, they seem little but they got work to do, they no pets. They are lil pranksters to! from time to time they would help pul inocent pranks on others and can for the most part understand other humans and monsters, if they stay is because they chose to stay.
