I know you've all been holding your breath, but fear not: The @starbondadhesives log book crack sealing results are in! Spin through the pictures and see for yourself. Medium turned out to be the best all-around glue for this project. Good penetration, good coverage, and good edge profile build up. All of the glue sanded off smooth with no bleed through (in cherry, I've not tested this on softer woods, so YMMV). I've decided to move forward with using the medium on the log book, as you can see in the first picture. The heavy thin glue had very good penetration, but at the cost of less edge build up. I could use this for the job, but it would require a few more rounds of sealing to completely cover the crack and make it flush with the edge. Super fast thin did a great job sealing the edge of the smaller cracks, sanded nice and smooth, but not so great on penetration. This glue would work well for the small superficial cracks where there isn't much depth to worry about. Thanks for following along and huge thanks to @starbondadhesives for the glue to try out.
