(In the story theyre from, they grow up together and quickly become bestfriends, but when they were introduced to eachother as barely older than hatchlings by their mothers, Janus was a very fussy and particular baby with sensitive scales and internal-magic regulation issues and thus didn't seem to get along with anyone that wasnt his mother. They saw eachother often tho as their mothers were best friends that often looked after each others kits, so Virgil quickly got tired of Jan's grouchy standoff-ish behavior, as as a fellow baby with no social skills and a larger body, he took to just dragging Janus into his nest to cuddle Janus into a warmer pile of more tolerable yet still grumbling scales. Their mothers often learned to just sit back and let it happen as Janus never actually hurts Virgil and Virgil is extremely careful. Theyd just never realize how much of a casual habit it'd become later in the dragons lives lol)
