sad thing i’ve been thinking about lately is johnny having a little grave/memorial set up for gyro someone outside his house when him and rina settle down. nothing big or flashy, just a small area with maybe some rocks he organized nicely, a spot where he begged rina to let them plant some white lilies and see if they grew.
he didn’t keep much from his time with the other, so nothings buried. anything he does have he’s not letting the earth eat away at, he has a little special box or something for that pushed in the way way wayyy back of the closet, a spot that’s hard to access, because if it was in arms reach he knows he’d grab for it too often.
he goes there to talk a lot, to clear his head, to update his closest friend on the current happenings of his life, of how he wishes he was there to share it with him. it was difficult at first, he didn’t do much but cry when he thought of him, but now he finds a certain comfort in the silence, almost as if gyro is listening to his every word and breath
one of the hardest talks was when he was going to become a dad. he didn’t think he’d do it right, scared shitless he’d turn out like his own father no matter how hard he tried not to…he tells gyro he would have been a way better dad probably, way more fun, loyal to a fault for his own kids, remembering one of those stupid late night conversations they had about their future and families they hoped to have, how gyro even shared some names he thought were nice if it ever happened…johnny wishes it could have for him
it’s always hard for him to get up and leave, to grab his cane and head back in, no matter how many times he’s done it before. it never gets easier leaving gyro and the pretty, pretty white flowers

Taking a break from work. fml bro i have so many corrections to do and somehow. somehow this fucking 4 frame loop is jarder to animate than a full 24 seconds of non looped animation. fmlfmlfml. WHATEVER.
A year ago, if you had told Keith he would be dating the illustrous James Griffin who had made his first semester Sociology class hell, he would probably laugh, realize you were being serious, and then throw himself off of the nearest tall ledge. Now, if you were to tell him that he would end up dating the heir to the company that’s extremely closely connected to his father’s mysterious death, he wouldn’t even need to find a ledge, he would probably just die on the spot from shock.
And keith really did feel that way. Life could not be real, he could hear James calling his name as a million things raced through his head and his vision dimmed. This was good. Bad, good, the two were the same at this point. He really liked James. How would accusing his father’s pride and joy (Keith knew James well enough by now to know that his father could care less about his living children and only cared about his company) go? Would there be any new leads? Keith had to admit that the past… Nearly four years now, of research was slow. There was only so much he could do when nobody answered his freedom of information requests and there was absolutely zero reporting on the original or similar incidents. Nearly four years of him running around in circles, putting up red string and taking it down before putting it up again just to seem like he was doing something.
And now his biggest lead was sitting across the table from him, well kempt eyebrows furrowed, one hand placed neatly on top of the newspaper clipping he’d found in senior year of highschool and the other hand holding his. Keith looked at James finally, vision refocusing.
“I think your dad’s company has something to do with the death of mine. My—My dad, I mean.” he blurted. Unceremonious, accusatory, and if it were James accusing Keith of this, Keith might’ve gotten up and left. So he would understand James if—
“I believe you.”
He was full of surprises, wasn’t he? Prominent James Griffin, so high profile you’d think he’d be the worst person ever. But he isn’t. He doesn’t care if you look differently, he doesn’t care for the performative kindness of his circle, and he clearly doesn’t care for his father. He believed him. Even if it meant jeopardizing the large sum of wealth bound to come with the inheritance of the company—No he didn’t care about any of that it seemed.
Winter break was coming around the corner, and James was set to go home. He promised Keith he would find something to give to him, and when he came back boy did he.
James had a… peculiar time visiting home. Lots of formal events, of course, but also theft this time. James and Allura had spent tons of time inside his father’s company headquarters, and this lead to a lot of exploring to get away from the stuffy, high-strung crowd. This meant James knew the building like the back of his hand. He slipped the security guard a sweet thousand dollars to turn the security cams off for an hour, and then proceeded to raid the filing cabinets for anything. James knew his father, he knew he was a… questionable man with questionable practices at best. He also knew that his wealth meant he felt untouchable, which, for possibly incriminating documents, meant that he kept them right where every other document was. Honestly a good strategy, hiding it within plain sight, but James was a meticulous man and he read damn fast and… there. Floorplans of the factory that had collapsed on Keith’s father all those years ago. James took them, scanned and copied them in the nearest copier machine he could find (was almost busted then by the wife of one of his father’s friends, thank god for his years of practiced smiles and idle chitchat) and then carefully replaced it. He slipped the security guy another 500 after he made sure that he’d turned the security cameras off. As gratitude and for his silence.
This was the most rebellious James had been ever since his father refused to drive him to track practice and he decided to use the distance between his house and track meets as a warmup before practices and meets. And this was a significant step up.
Keith nearly cried when James presented him with the documents after winter break. He opted for a heated make out session instead, both from gratitude and because god it was boring and lonely when everyone except him went back home for christmas.
Second year semester two rolled around with not much being developed. Both Keith and James were extremely well connected, but neither of them seemed to know anybody who could analyze the blueprint and pull something meaningful from it. A saving grace came by the way of Allura, whose childhood friend, Romelle, came from a seemingly long line of architects and civil engineers and really anything building related. And while Romelle wasn’t an expert by any means, it wasn’t that hard to look at the blueprint and see that it would’ve been impossible for the factory to collapse after only being on fire for a mere four hours. Unless there were explosions (of which none were reported), it would’ve taken at least double the time it actually did to fell such a structure.
A lead. For the first time in four years Keith had something tangible to grasp onto. The end of second semester came and now James and Keith were stuck with four months of summer and nothing to do. Well, one thing.
Keith quit his job (he prayed they would take him back once third year rolled around) and made plans to head home. He wasn’t going to find any more evidence up here on the East Coast. He’d need to go all the way down to Arizona. And James was willing to drive.
sigh dinner break over. back to work at big 10:40 pm. also turns out my sleep deprived brain is better at writing lmao this is kind of ass but i dont care im lowkey making ts up as i go
fix-it universe where Palpatine is stopped (Let's let Riyo Chuchi do it this time) She just happened to be in the office when shit went down and threw a desk ornament at the chancellor and he had so dismissed her he didn't even block and it crunched right into his temple. He died of a brain bleed.
Anakin tries to leave the order, but everyone on the council had an opinion. Plus, he was still the "chosen one" and he'd been apart of finding out about the chancellor and well...he was one of the pretty faces of the jedi and people still liked him. He was unwilling to divorce Padme (duh) or have a distant relationship like Ki Adi Mundi had with his wives. Some members of the council, who had seen the toll taken by the war declared maybe, just maybe it was time to make some adjustments to the code and tenants of the jedi. How many had left? How many had fallen during the war?
So Anakin would be part of their test case on rule relaxing. Anakin agrees, reluctantly. He doesn't hate being a jedi in some ways, he genuinely loves helping people...it's just...he had been hoping to devote more time to Padme and also there were tentative plans for he and Ahsoka to meet up with most of the 501st + others to start the war of slavery. A war that had actual meaning. Padme was stuck on coruscant anyway for the time being helping restructure the senate away from a near dictatorship. Also cheerily pushing bills about the outer rim territories that would aid Anakin and co.
Anakin spends some more time in the temple, while Padme is busy in the senate and with committee meetings. (He's never seen her look more alive as his perfect and beautiful wife is getting actual results from her efforts. It's heartening. Plus he is now allowed to see her openly everyday and make her eat and rest!) But anyway, he's been pulled into taking on some classes, including early lightsaber training for younglings when the force kinda... knocks on his brain and an arrow pointing at one youngling in particular. Young Reva Sevander. The girl had a spark and though still a bit tender over losing Ahsoka as his padawan (one thing he was never forgiving the council for) he asked Padme first and she agreed. Pointing out that Anakin liked teaching and he couldn't help change the Order if he didn't teach. So he approaches young Reva and asks her to be his Padawan. (The enthusiastic hug he receives seems to say yes and the more formal bow and acceptance from the youngling confirms.)
Ahsoka is excited to meet her new lineage sibling.
Meanwhile Obi-Wan is going through some things. He hadn't known...that Anakin was married. That the young man wanted to leave the order. That he'd let a sith master have open access to his padawan. He felt like a failure.
Later he joins Anakin and others of the "Sentient Liberation Army" to take Tatooine from the Hutts. Asajj Ventress ends up joining them. Along with a much quieter Count Dooku. They have brought forces as well to aid, Dooku wanting to do good now, to alleviate the harm he'd caused. Dooku and Anakin strike up a very weird friendship, while Obi Wan finds himself...training Ventress. He can see the potential in her and he finds that once he stops looking for the "dark side" he starts seeing...a capable and passionate person who has a lot to offer the galaxy now. He never formally becomes her master but...he's not not her jedi master either.
Reva Sevander grows to be a great jedi under anakin skywalker. In this world their is no empire or inquisitorius, she is never "third sister". But she is a younger and older sister. Ahsoka claims the spot of Anakin's first kid, but Reva at least gets to be big sister to all Anakin and Padme's other children plus his future padawans.
She's a good deal less "the plan is no plan" that her master, but he doesn't force her to be a jedi exactly like him, instead guides her to being the best jedi she can be.
Cal and Merrin name their firstborn daughter Cere.
After that, when Merrin is pregnant again, this time with a boy, Greez can't help but joke about the baby being named after him.
They all know the real reason why the baby won't be named Greez. But Greez doesn't know that Cal and Merrin actually discussed it. Didn't want to replace him with a baby by the same name. Didn't want to tempt fate to kill him. They would name a child after Greez in a heartbeat. But you name babies after dead people.
None of this is said out loud. Instead they joke:
"Nah this one's gonna be called Beedee," Cal quips whilst rubbing the droid's head.
"I've always liked the name Turgle," replies Merrin, completely straight faced.
"Monk has done a lot for us, and the jedi were known as monks so it would be fitting," muses Cal.
"Poncho." is Merrin's deadpan response when the question is asked yet again.
Summary : "We will marry eachother if we're still single by 25," that's a silly promise Sungho had made with his best friend, [...] on a sleepover night in the third grade. Sungho could only laugh everytime the memory returned to him. I mean, who knew that they'd go through with the plan?
Warnings/contents : it's just a silly wedding drabble, no warnings! also, non proof read and english is not my first language <3 they/them used
Sungho felt a bit uneasy, as his groomsmen helped him tidy up his appearance. Anyone could see how nervous he was, his body felt warm and his hands was shaking slightly. He tried to sooth himself up by twiddling with his fingers.
Dongmin was one of the guys helping him out, as he was currently fixing up the white suit Sungho was wearing. He hummed as he saw Sungho's nervousness, which made him chuckle in amusement.
"Nervous, huh?" Dongmin asked the question with the most obvious answer. Sungho let out a sigh, and nodded in response anyway. "Obviously," Murmured Sungho.
Dongmin dusted the shoulder of the suit to make sure it looked tidy, before taking a step back to take in Sungho's appearance. "You look so handsome hyeong," Dongmin grinned with thumbs up from both of his hands. Sungho's lip curved up. His friends really knew how to boost up his confidence.
"I found it," Exclaimed a new voice that had entered Sungho's dressing room, which was Jaehyun. He held a little red rose in his hand, which he then tucked into the pocket of Sungho's suit. Sungho's smile deepened, looking at both of his friends with gratitude in his eyes.
"Thank you so much for helping me," Sungho said softly. Both of the boys smiled in response, Jaehyun nodding rapidly. "Of course, hyeong. It's our job to make you look the best for [...]!"
At the mention of [...], his soon to be spouse, his ears grew a red tint. It wasn't hard to notice, thus both of his friends laughed. Sungho huffed, covering his ears with his palms.
"You're still so shy after all these years," Dongmin cooed, teasing the man. Sungho sent him a glare, which was more playful than actually wanting to kill him. "Right? Some things never change." Jaehyun added his own comment, which got Sungho thinking.
They were right, obviously. After knowing [...] since they were both children, he would still get flustered at the mention of the latter like he used to primary all the way to university. He didn't think further about his feelings for [...], hence he thought that liking his childhood friend was just a phase, and that he'd get over it sooner or later.
That's what he thought 11 years ago. Time really flies, doesn't it?
Firstly, [...] was a friend who he met in primary school. Now, that same person was his fiance, and was about to be his spouse today. Even thinking about it made him feel giddy.
Jaehyun took Sungho's hand, which snapped him out of his thoughts. Dongmin took the other hand, and they began leading the groom out of the dressing room.
"C'mon, the ceremony starts in 15 minutes. Don't wanna be late for your own wedding, right?" Jaehyun grinned, which made Sungho chuckle and nod in agreement. So, he let his friends, his groomsmen lead him to the altar.
Sungho stood at the altar, at the end of the hall. He bit the inside of his cheek, putting weight on his leg from left to right. He felt the nervousness he felt earlier come back to him, as he stood infront of everyone he ever loved.
His mother had approached just earlier, having embraced him and sobbed into his shoulders like she was the one getting married. Sungho only hugged her back, rubbing her back to soothe her. She said, "I'm just happy. It felt like it was just yesterday you were a small baby, slowly growing up and having fun with your hyeong. Now my baby is getting married," He felt his heart flutter at her simple yet meaningful words.
The hall suddenly fell silent. He tensed up, standing up straight to make himself look the best as possible.
And yes, they do have a 'flower girl'. Woonhak peeked from the door of the hall, holding a basket filled to he brim with poppies. [...]'s favorite flowers of all time. The doors closed behind him once he entered.
Woonhak had a dumb grin plastered on his lips, waving at Sungho before he walked down the aisle, tossing and throwing the poppies onto the maroon carpet. Sungho had to suppress a smile from how silly the idea of having Woonhak be the flower girl, though the audience was already giggling at Woonhak. He was adorable, okay?
He glanced over at the entrance of the hall, seeing the doors open and [...]'s friend emerging from the door. His heart thumped and picked up its pace dramatically, it felt as if his heart would just jump out of his chest.
[...]'s friend was holding their hand, and they began to lead [...] down the hall. The moment Sungho saw his spouse's appearance, he felt his breath hitch. It was like in that very second, he lost his breath.
Thoughts ran through his head, racing at a rapid pace like how his heart was going 500 BPM. The thoughts being things such as, "oh gosh, they're gorgeous." I mean, how lucky was he to be with someone like [...]?
He felt like all the memories returned to him when [...] and their slowly made their way down the aisle. The memory of one sleepover night in the second grade, a night that would alter his perspective and feelings. It was practically engraved into his mind.
———
"Sungho, your friend is here!' His mother yelled for him from the kitchen, as she was cooking dinner for the night.
Sungho's ears perked up, and he jumped up from his bed. He had been boredly waiting for his friend to arrive, on the bed. He practically just laid there, waiting for his friend to cheer him up.
He ran downstairs and immediately went to open the front door. A big smile was stuck on his lips, as he attacked the latter in a tight and warm embrace. Like he hadn't seen them in forever.
"[...], you're late," Sungho said with a frown on his lips. [...] giggled, patting his head as to apologize. "I'm sorry, but I'm only late by 5 minutes."
Sungho huffed as they pointed it out, making it seem like he was impatient or something. "Whatever! Let's go to my bedroom," He grabbed [...]'s hand, rushing upstairs.
They had eaten dinner that Sungho's mother made, though they ate it very quickly. They practically inhaled it, to make more time to play with eachother.
Sungho would always brag that he was better at Mario Kart than [...] will ever be, but he still managed to lose to them anyway. [...] only kept on teasing in how wrong he was.
"I'm just tired. It's not fair," Sungho said with his arms crossed. "Well, okay. How about we start an island on Animal crossing instead?" [...] suggested. Sungho hummed in thought, before agreeing with a nod of his head as he went to the console to change the disc.
"Sure. Let's make a mansion, because we deserve the best," "Agreed." [...] smiled in response as he started the game.
Sungho laid on his bed, as [...] Laid right next to him. Sungho would usually never let anyone shar his bed with him, not even his older brother who he adored so much. But he was already so used to having moments like this with [...], the person he loved the most.
"Sungho, do you have a girlfriend?" That question took Sungho by surprise. He shook his head no.
"Well.. ugh, this is gonna seem silly!" [...] pouted. Sungho rolled his eyes. Nothing could be worse than having to see [...] have that horrendous pout. "Just say it," Sungho encouraged him.
"If... We're single by 25, do you wanna get married?" It was a question, a promise that people made a lot.
But Sungho being himself, he had never thought about it. Let alone expected someone would ask that question to him. Sungho seemed to freeze, thinking about what to say.
Did he want that? Well, it didn't seem like he was against it. On the contrary, he thought that the promise would be broken anyway. Even if they don't have a partner, they probably wouldn't go through with it.
Humming in thought, then he nodded his head. "I mean, I guess we could...." Sungho said, with a hint of reluctance. Pushing his hesitation aside, [...] seemed to smile in response. They seemed to be... Genuinely happy.
"Yay..." [...] said, but their voice seemed to fade. They yawned, shifting in the covers.
"Okay then... Goodnight, Sungho," [...] Said as they cuddled to one of Sungho's pillow. Sungho bit the inside of his cheek out of habit, thinking more about the question they had asked.
He was only 9, why was he thinking about marriage? He also seemed to be unsatisfied as [...] just let off their conversation like the most casual thing in the world.
Sungho let out a sigh. "Goodnight, [...]."
———
Sungho's heart thumped as his partner had reached the altar, looking at him with the same look of his eyes. A mix of, "I can't believe this is happening," and "what the hell is going on?".
Same, [...], same. Sungho thought.
His lips curved up to a soft smile, chuckling with so much overwhelming emotions within himself.
The wedding officiant cleared his throat, which quickly gathered everyone's attention.
"I hereby, and is happy to announce that Park Sungho, and his partner, [...] [...] will be getting their hands in marriage," The officiant announced, and everyone else applauded for them, some of their family were getting weary-eyed.
The officiant glanced over to Sungho, "Will you accept [...] as your spouse, that'll make you happy for the rest of your lifetime?"
"I do." He replied with no hint of reluctance, just excitement in his eyes. The officiant nodded, turning hsi head over to [...].
"Do you accept Sungho as your husband?" He asked them this time. With a smile, [...] eagerly nodded. "Of course I do."
The officiant seemed to be satisfied with both of their answers, nodding as he took a atep back.
"I now pronounce you, Sungho and [...] arre officially married." He announced with his a bow to his head. "You may now kiss,"
[...] only giggled, leaning in and pecking Sungho on the lips. "It feels great that we're finally together, huh?" They asked with a cheeky grin.
Sungho's face turned red. It wasn't like it was the first time they has kissed, but he'd get flustered everytime [...] iniated a kiss. Sungho had a dumb grin on his face, nodding in agreement.
Sungho took a step to his partner, wrapping them in a warm embrace, where they were practically floating as Sungho gave a eager, yet gentle kiss to the lips. Sungho whispered into their lips, "This is heaven..."
Sungho and [...] had their hands resting on top of one another, as they sliced the cake. It felt a bit heartwarming to them.
Despite it being a fancy, five level wedding cake, the flavor of the cake was a classic rainbow cake. It was a flavor of cake that Sungho had always insisted to eat whenever they visited the cafe back in their high-school days.
[...]'s parents had approached the pair, a huge grin plastered on their father's face.
Once they arrived, [...]'s father gave a light hug to his child, patting their back when he pulled back. "I can't believe it! My child is all grown up, I'm I'm proud," he said, wiping away imaginary tears that spilled from his eyes.
[...] rolled their eyes with a huff, an amused smile on their mouth. "I know, right?" They commented in agreement.
[...]'s mother smiled at Sungho, extending her hand to offer him a handshake.
"Welcome to the family, Sungho," she said. "I remember when you still played those videos games with [...]. Everything just goes so fast." She sighed in nostalgia. She could get teary eyed just thinking about all the memories of them, it just held a special place in her heart.
"Yo!" His groomsmen were back, Dongmin and Jaehyun, along with the 'flowerboy' Woonhak.
"It was so cute when you and [...] kissed, hyeong. Stop making me resent you!" Woonhak whined dramatically. Sungho shrugged his shoulders, smirking as he buried his hands into his pocket. "What can I say? I really can't resist when they're infront of me,"
[...] chuckled, hitting his shoulder. "Stop being sappy for one second."
Dongmin laughed in amusement, folding his arms. "Well, congratulations on your marriage hyeong. I didn't see the day where you'd get married, especially to someone as nice as [...],"
"You need to stop being jealous. I know that I got the cutest partner ever," Sungho cooed, taking his hand from his pocket just to squeeze the life of his partner's right cheek, and they squeaked in surprise.
Sungho only laughed. [...] was just the same as always. [...] always reminded him of a mouse somehow.
The way Sungho kept on talking about them, like they were the most prized possessions that was now in his hands had [...] all flustered. They wanted him to stop. But at the same time, they wanted Sungho to keep on whispering to them all these sweet nothings until they went deaf (which was never).
[...]'s mother only chuckled at their little bickering. It was just those small things that bought a smile to her face.
———
Sungho's hair was damped, as had just finished showering. He eagerly rushed over to the bed with a white towel, giving it to [...] as he wanted them to wipe his hair dry.
[...] hummed in amusement, patting the spot infront of them for him to sit. He practically bounced onto the bed, and [...] began to dry up his hair using the same towel.
[...]'s parents had planned out an all-expenses paid weekend, where they could stay at a luxury hotel for he weekend, just so they could have their cozy alone time together. Sungho couldn't feel any more grateful to his parents-in-law.
His partner continued to scratch his head, and wipe his wet hair with the towel which sent shivers through his spine. [...] giggled at him, and Sungho chuckled along him.
They put the towel away, indicating that they were done. He turned around, pecking his cheek in gratitude as he then laid on the bed, head resting on [...]'s lap. They were both wearing the same pair of pajamas, which just made him feel giddier.
"Don't you think it's silly," [...] mumbled as he stroked Sungho's head, in soothing circles. Sungho hummed in confusion.
"That we got married because of some promise...?" [...] continued to whisper. Sungho's lips curved down to a frown, shaking his head almost immediately.
"What? Of course not. If you weren't being an idiot and suddenly made that promise, we wouldn't be together right now," Sungho said. He brought his hand to his partner's chin, stroking his chin as he laid on his lap. [...] let out a sigh. He was right. [...] couldn't deny that this day was the best day of his life.
"Would you believe me if I said this felt like a fever dream?" Sungho grinned, which had [...] chuckling at how adorable he was. They leaned down, pressing a kiss to his forehead. "I believe you alright. I expect for you to dream about nothing but me," [...] said cheekily.
Those words felt like euphoria to Sungho. That's right. He wanted to dream about nothing but [...], his love of his life. [...] was quite literally his dream.
Sungho sat up, tackling [...] onto their back, peppering kisses all over their face. [...] squealed as they tried to fight Sungho off, but his grip on him only tightened. He had his arms wrapped around them, his head laying in their shoulder.
"I loved today. I hope everyday could be like this," He sighed softly.
I'm slow at updating becos I've been trying to write on Wattpad and I've been reading a lot LOL. so very sorry !!

Gladstone sighed as he leaned against the railing of his brand-new yacht, peering out at the city blanketed in velvety swaths of dark clouds and blinking lights of the buildings. For the first time in... well, he couldn't recall, he was finally out of the city and back onto his plan for traveling the world like he'd originally planned.
The plane ticket that had stayed in the pocket of his jacket was dated back seven years, but Gladstone decided he wouldn't think of that. It made his stomach hurt, and he was Gladstone Gander! He didn't have stomach aches, or bad luck. Only good things came his way. Like buying a cruise, for twenty dollars! And perfect curls that always did what he wanted them to, and an immaculate singing voice. Plus the charm he had, worked like no other. All in all? Gladstone Gander was a lucky guy. He didn't have room in his life for stuff like casinos with an ever-revolving exit door that he never could find or scars or sleepless nights.
He ran a hand through his curls and took a deep breath of the midnight, salty air. Dark water lapped against the side of the boat and for a split second, Gladstone wondered how the thing that looked like it was made of solid gold was even floating.
"Eh. Luck of the Gander, I guess," he shrugged and grinned out back at the city. "Well, sayonara, Macaw! This lucky goose's cards have been dealt and he's off the table!"
Gladstone lifted up a cup of water with a trembling hand in a toast and laughed before taking a sip and sat it back down.
'Goodnight, Macaw,' he mentally shouted, 'and may we never cross paths again!'
All this talk about Joe Velasco and his motorbike. Yesss. All for it 😊. What if you were his friend or what have you and he picked you up to take you out. But you have never been on a bike before let alone in a busy city like New York or you were/are a little scared?!?
"Um, Joe," you stammer, stopping at the sight of his motorcycle next to the sidewalk.
"Yeah, Chiquita?" he responds, turning back to face you.
You swallow hard. "Are we...taking that?"
Joe smirks. "That is what I drive...wait, are you afraid?" His face changes to one of concern.
"Erm...it's not that I'm afraid...but I...I've never been on one before...and the traffic..."
He walks back to you to take one of your hands. "I promise I'll keep you safe." Those big green eyes are nothing but sincere. You then allow him to lead you to the bike and fasten a helmet on your head. His fingers are gentle as he adjusts the strap. "Now, just climb on after me, okay?"
You nod and watch Joe effortlessly swing a leg up and over to mount the motorcycle. He takes hold of the handlebars and looks back at you. You take it as your cue to get on. The shape of the rear seat makes you lean slightly forward.
"Now hang on to me, Chiquita. I won't let anything happen to you." You nod at his words, slipping your arms around his middle and resting your head against his shoulder. "Ready?" He questions, firing up the engine.
The motorcycle revs and he begins to ease it forward. Instinctively, you tighten your grip on him. Joe checks over his shoulder before pulling into the street.
You feel the bike shift slightly side to side but quickly realize that Joe has full control of its movements. He speeds up to keep in time with the traffic and you feel the rush of wind through your hair and jacket.
This's not so bad, you think and you soon relax, comforted by the feel of being wrapped around Joe.
---
I've never been on a motorcycle either so I don't know what it's like! I'd definitely be scared the first time. Wish I had a Velasco to show me how fun it could be though 😏
There's something about a dude who can ride a classy motorcycle like that
Give us a little drabble of her nomming up folks, then~ Maybe even a few at once!
Chelle gives a halfhearted sigh as she walks down from her office and hops into her custom-made elevator to head to the basement. When you're so tall and so wide, you need some extra wiggle room. It helps when you're stinkin' rich too, even whether it's legal money or not. She tries her best for the former, though.
Her train of thought is interrupted by a movement from her middle. It looks like lunch hasn't quite settled in yet, but maybe they shouldn't have tried to ambush her in her office alone? Not their smartest decision, given their current situation. A stifled belch from the tall, one-eyed mafiosa as her ride continues downwards.
A soft beep and the elevator doors open up, the tall woman still ducking under the entrance slightly to get out. She walks her way along the large basement, being ushered in by her cronies to what's currently going on. Apparently, they need to beef up security again as another wannabe hero has snuck their way into her building.
She stops in front of the holding room, looking over her second intruder of the day. Seems like a punky dude who doesn't know any better. What could he possibly-? Oh, flames body! That's interesting~.
"Why are you here, pest?", Chelle asks over the intercom into the room, unable to be seen by their guest this way.
The man perks right up, chuckling and shaking his head slightly. "I came here to be a hero, duh? Come on, really? Secret base in the nice lady's office building? That's low, even for you guys." He boasts further about what he plans to do to save the city from their secret tyranny and strings being pulled, unaware that the woman has already completely tuned him out.
"......92...355...ooh, wow, 419!"
"You know you left the mic on, right lady? The hell are you doing?"
"Oh, no worries to you. A little hobby of mine. I hear these little heroic speeches so wearily often, so I've started making a mental list of how many times I've heard certain lines~."
"....... That's really fucked up, you know?"
"190."
"Oh yeah, well...come in here and put your money where your mouth is, you stupid bitch!"
"Oh my word!"
A purposeful silence.
"12~."
The door suddenly flings open for him to escape, which he does, only to be lasered in the back of the leg as he does. He cries out in pain and tries to get away, but a very tall woman is coming after him in pursuit.
"H-Hey now, maybe we can work out a deal? I could work for ya, you know? I'm useful and the like."
"My, it is always so true every time! People really do show their true character at the time of their ends!" She catches up to him and pins him down with her hand to his neck, lifting him up to her face easily.
"Your little request there? 78." A rough squeeze to his neck to make him pass right out and she gets to enjoying a very spicy lunch. Sorry, first lunch, you're going to have to share a room for a bit.
Guuuulp, glllrk, glokk.

Now back in her office and entertaining 'guests', she lounges at her desk as she makes a few phone calls. "Yes, can you boys and girls please stop hiring the cheapest security guards with the least amount of experience? We have the money, hire some people that know what they're doing!"
She belches up a few flames, starting to sweat from the internal heat. "Also, make sure you shred and erase those documents properly, this time? That's how I got my little intruder this afternoon, after all. I will gladly add you to my collection if you can't get it through your head, sweetheart. And bring me some ice cream, I need to cool hothead here down enough to sleep him off."
Click.
Chelle finally rests back in her massive chair, more a throne at this point, poking and kneading her guts around to mess with her captives. "Don't you worry, boys. You're going to a better cause. When I rid this city of its worst problems, I'll be sure to make a plaque in your honor for your valiant sacrifices~."
GrrrRrrGlee.
"Shame you had to get in the way, though. I hope you like peppermint mocha. It'll be some of the last things in this life you'll be partaking in~."
