Honestly, Sans coming from Deltarune is eerie since the post Chapter 5 its implied he could of came from either the weird route or normal route. And its possible even if the machine could work Sans couldn't return to the world he wants or perhaps the snowgrave route is why the machine cannot work.

I really REALLY hope Sans doesn't get the Rose quartz treatment

For those who don't know:

Rose is a character that died before the Events of Steven universe and at the beginning of the series we are told that she was this fantastic person, only later we learn about some things she did in the past that weren't really good, but still, she did something bad and then she became a good person

but because her story was told in reverse a part of the fandom didn't perceive her character development and talk about her like it didn't happen.

If Sans Deltarune truly is Sans Undertale I could see that happening to him as well

You know we meet in Undertale and there he's a great guy but then in Deltarune we see him in the past and maybe he messed up and learns from it

You know character development told in reverse

Idk I'm just very afraid

I understand if there's very little of them since we're still early in Deltarune's story/the "evidence" is still too vague right now, but does anyone know if there's any decent fics revolving around the "Sans and Papyrus Undertale are from the Deltarune universe" theory? Or vice versa but I'm more of a 'he's from DR and got trapped in UT' believer and would prefer that take. I would look for some myself but I don't what keywords/tags/filters I would put in to find it.
