and there's like a second of silence before the alarms just start going off

also, to share my own brainworms, I imagined her design to look like a character in the process of being edited, or her edges literally being rounded similar to that one thundercats cartoon or the ppg reboot - in her attempt to LOOK appealing to everyone, she appeals to no one. something like that

hm hm im no mental health expert or anything so take like everything i say with a big ol grain of salt but i guess her theme could also be about masking in the sense that she's trying to refine herself into appearing more normal while really just hurting herself in the process

for like visual stuff in her theme i cant help but picture it like being mostly just focused on a piece of paper with tei drawn on it, along with some of her interests drawn around her (like some cakes, knives, traffic lights, etc) and over the course of the song as the lyrics get more desperate to become normal, the paper starts getting cut into with a pair of scissors.

at first, the scissors would only really be careful cutting around tei a little bit, just cutting some of the empty space off of the paper until it slowly but surely starts to cut into some of her interests. first it'd cut into the traffic lights and then from there it'd cut into kagamine len and it'd just slowly but surely keep cutting away until the final part of the song where she's started to grow so desperate for normalcy that the scissors are just cutting into the drawn tei in the middle of the paper, slowly but surely snipping away pieces of her body until she's nothing but a head. and then at the end maybe like you'd see tei's arm (her real arm, not the one on the drawn tei) just angrily scribbling away her head completely with a black pen.

i think it'd be like a cool way of visualizing her essentially mangling herself mentally as she cuts further and further into some of her traits in order to erase them, only really serving to cause herself more pain than actually helping to become someone more "normal".
