it is kind of wild to me to see people read kris' narrative as exclusively the experience of being transgender rather than what it is like to be mixed or otherwise not visibly [belonging to] a community. the transgenderism is under the surface as it pertains to interpersonal relationships; the immediate reading will always be kris' deep-seated apprehensions based on appearance indicating them as the stranger to be given a sideways glance, something still difficult to bear emotionally even if you are not treated as the outsider to be ousted. sometimes the ambiguity can be even more difficult, in fact, because any upset in response will disturb the alleged peace

Right now it’s my Theme Park DR!!
It’s an Earth sized theme park! It’s based off of Disney parks mostly. Inside, there’s restaurants, cafes, hotels, and obviously rides.
There’s no culture of “YoUre tOO oLd fOR ThAT!!!!1!1” like there is in this reality, so it’s really fun to go on silly kids rides and stuff.
Everything is run by robots, so there’s never any accidents on the rides. There’s no concept of money, or ownership, but there is trade for collectible items. And everyone can just check into the nearest hotel instead of travelling back to a home, because travelling to and from one location would be boring lol.
AND THE FOOD?? OMG. Mouth watering. But since there’s no sense of scarcity in this world, there’s also no incentive to overeat so you just,,, enjoy it. It’s nice.
I could go into heavy detail about this DR, but idk if anyone rlly cares about DRs that aren’t from media lol
