What if Ben was controled by MIB as Sayid and Claire were ?
let’s think about it:
Ben was brought to Richard as a dying kid, and he miraculously get fixed.
Then Ben looses his innocence and becomes a creepy selfish bastard.
He ends up killing Jacob.
When he left the island he was still connected to it and was kind of obligated to go back.
In the afterlife he stays stuck outside, just as MIB who was stuck on the ilsand and couldn’t follow the band.
Maybe Ben isn’t CONTROLED by MIB but he might then just be... Infected ?
