Richard Came home soaking wet and cold he walked into the house and it was quiet he walked past the living room and he saw a flicking light he opened the door to find Paul sitting in the dark other than the fire flicking softlyÂ
(Richard)What are you doing?I asked making the other man jumpÂ
(Paul)oh finallyâŚyou're home you've been gone for hours its after 10 I said and your soaked through take your shirt off i say he does so I grab the warm black top for him and trousers and hand them to him he puts them on he puts the trousers on first turning around when he removes his shirt I see his back the muscles look so kissable if you look carefully you can see scars i blink and turn awayÂ
Paul still remembers the night Richard opened up to him and the abuse he suffered from the hands of his stepfather Richard said that he used to beat him with a belt until he couldn't stand up anymore he use to call him names tell him he was stupid that he wouldn't have nothing in life and he was useless Richard said he wanted to die those nights he wanted to hurt himself so badly. Paul would always ask him what got him through it Richard would always answer the same, music he wrote and wrote and then he met till and the rest is history he changed his name he didn't want that name anymore and then he met paulÂ
(Paul)I made you some hot chocolate i say handing him a cup âthanksâ I nodded I walk past him and then stop at the door right by him i look into his eyes .ive decided to go on a date with casey's friend he nodded I thought i should tell you I didn't want you finding out from.anyone elseÂ
After when paul walked away Richard's heart beat went through the roof he thought his chest was going to explode from pain he he knew if paul is going on a date thats it his lost him all because of one comment he made stupidâŚ.he was stupid .. he could tell paul how he felt he could kiss himâŚlove him but he couldn't instead he drank hot chocolate paul aways made such good hot chocolates but it felt like venom in Richard's mouth he felt sick he washed up his cup and went to sleepÂ
Richard woke up feeling horrible, cold ,and hungry not to mention hurt he climbed out of bed and bumped into Flake i nodded a good morning to him but he stopped meÂ
âDid you know that paul is going on a dateâÂ
(Richardyes I know.. anything else? He shook his head âŚ. I shut my eyes and walked to the bathroom I jumped into the hot shower and soaked until the hot water hurt my skinÂ
Paul:woke up and remembered last night with Casey, Richard coming in soaking wet and changingâŚright in front of him he remembered seeing his back and wanting to kiss it and touch him .He told Richard that he was going on a date shit why did he do that?Did he want Richard to get jealous or did he want to prove to Richard that he was good enough to get with someone who wants him? casey was right Richard was never going to be with him he didn't have the mindset to do that so he should let him go but how could he after all those years of liking him yes it was going to be hard and maybe he couldn't do it but moving on being with someone he had to try if not he would wait around for something that will never happen.thinking about everything with Reesh took the time I to 11:30am he rubbed his face and then it hit him his going on a date and he hasn't got anything to wear, shit he groaned getting up out of bed and jumping into the showerÂ
Richard spent the day in his studio alone working on a song well he tried but he couldn't instead he just sat in his chair looking at his guitar zoning out his eyes went to the clock that ticked near him it was 2:00pm in the afternoon he rubbed his face he didn't know what happened the ticking the fact that he couldn't write songs or the fact that his mind wouldn't get off from paul but the ticking wouldn't stop he grabbed the clock and threw it across the room and it smashed into millions of piecesÂ
Paul looked through everything in his room to wear. He always did this before a date he always worried about what to wear so he went.With a red shirt, black jeans and a red beanie he sat on his bed was he really doing this?going on a date he looked over to the chair in the corner where Richard mainly sat when he got dressed for anything he would always sayÂ

That ran into Paul's mind; he didn't want him thoughâŚ
(Paul)stop it paulâŚ. No thinking about him tonight you are going to have a great night tonight and might even get a girlfriend âŚokÂ
Paul was actually looking forward to it he stepped out of his room and went to casey's room she smiled when she saw meÂ
(Casey)ohhhh look at you he blushed and smiledÂ
(Paul)is it too much?I asked nervouslyÂ
(Casey)no dont be silly you look hotÂ
(Paul)really? She nodded thank you um where am I meeting her?I askedÂ
(Casey)Mike's pizza and bowling centreÂ
(Paul)bowling? I asked she nodded im shit at bowlingÂ
(Casey)then you can let her win. Go on then prince charming he smiled and rolled his eyes and walked out of the roomÂ
Paul:he was nervous this was his and Richard's place he knew it very well actually the staff here always gives them a couples discount paul would pay for the bowling and Richard paid for the drinks and pizza Richard liked it here because you could smoke inside. Paul remembered the first time they went there he asked the manager if he could smoke and when. She said yes Paul thought Richard was going to kiss her he was that happy so it became their little spot,thinking about all this made paul feel sad. him and Richard were so tight back then yes Richard was tight with Till but with Paul they went on mate dates thatâs what paul called them maybe they were dates? But they both didn't call them that the amount of times people have said that they made a cute couple and neither of them corrected the person, it made paul think that they were more than friends âŚthe guilt ate paul inside of him he wanted to get out of the car go to Richard but his heart was saying no don't do that and he didn't when they pulled up at mikes place he just sat there the driver calling out that he needed to be paid woke him up from his tranceÂ
Paul:said handing the guy some money he got out on shaky legs and walked inside when he did the loud music hit his ears and the smell of smoke made him cough he walked to the bar and the place where you get your bowling shoes from and waited he knew what the girl looked like casey showed him a picture of her and he liked her, he waited a little longer has he been stood up? He asked himself, was that a bad thing?but no the door opened and a shortish woman walked in she was in a red dress and she looked even more beautiful than the pictures Paul stood up and smiled and walked to herÂ
(Paul)yeah Katie? She nodded hi she hugged me and she smelt niceÂ
(Katie)i see that you are in red to so you must like redÂ
Paul: laughed he didn't know why he chose these colors but his glad he didÂ
They played bowling and laugh and yes paul was terrible he lost three games and they talked and talked about everything he learnt that she works in an office in finance she has an older sister called Tracy and her mom and dad are Lawyers he spoke about his life and she was actually interested ,when they stopped for pizza and drinks they talked even more but they had to lean in to each other's ears when she did this her hand fell onto his thigh it felt nice after they had pizza she asked the question as they were walking out and grabbing a taxi homeÂ
(Katie)paul why are you single?
Paul:didn't know how to answer that question he didn't know why many girls asked him out and he always said no and then. He noticed not once he thought about Richard he didn't even feel guilty anymore he looked at her and the only answer was
(Paul)I don't know, I supposed I never wanted to go out with someone so much,you know? âDid you want to go out with me?âyes i saidÂ
They both smiled at each other and then paul leaned in and kissed her lips softly but she pulled him in holding him by his shirt her hand went to his Neck pauls arms wrapped around her.there tongues came together as they both moaned and Paul's trousers got very tightÂ
(Driver)excuse me Mrs your hereÂ
They both pulled away and both was red in the faceÂ
(Katie)yes..I am thank you and thank you for a lovely evening I kissed him again and slid out âcan we see each other again?â Yes definitely oh wait .I wrote down my number and handed it to him and then got out of the car bye âsee yaâ
Paul:When the door shut I smiled to myself. That was amazing. When the driver was driving up the road to the house he saw Richard it was pouring down with rainÂ
(Paul)wait could you pull over? PleaseÂ
(Paul)hayyy going my way?
Richard smiled and got in the car he was soaked again he walked after he smashed his clock he didn't look at paul but his eyes failed at that he looked goodÂ
(Richard)came from anywhere nice?
(Paul)yeah IâŚI had that date so I just came from thereÂ
(Richard)oh how did it go?
(Paul)I smiled very good actuallyÂ
Richard:nodded and then nothing was said. The air in the car got thick and heavy. He smelt like perfume and he looked happy. The jealousy ate away at him and he wanted to scream at him. How could he do this? But then he remembered it was kinda his fault if he never said anything to paul he wouldn't of gone on that date and paul looked happy generally happy he didnt wanna say anything to ruin thatÂ
(Richard)you going to go on a second date?
It hanged heavy in the air before paul answerÂ
(Paul)yeah I think i will i looked at him and he nodded âright âÂ
Paul:noticed Richard's hand gripped onto the handle of the car tighter then he noticed that his never been on a second date the first ones always fell apart faster than anything but he was happy to go on one .finally the car stopped and Richard got our first slamming the door behind him and racing up the stairsÂ
(Till)oh Hay reesh âŚ. Oh bye thenÂ
Richard walked right past till and went into his room locking it shut he sat on his bed and he wanted to scream again and he didnt wanna stop it hurt so badly he fell back his head hit the pillowsÂ
(Casey)it went really well then?
(Paul)yes it did i mean I think she likes me
(Casey)Paul she kissed you and she gave you her number. Yes she likes you, why don't we do a double date?
(Casey)yeah it will be fun we can go shoppingÂ
(Paul)mean you two can go shopping and Till and I can hold the bags i laughÂ
(Casey)I rolled my eyes ok yes âŚanyway I need to do baby shopping Beth is growing out all of her clothes if we dont go as a foursome me and you can go?Â
(Paul)sure I nodded getting up right im tired im going to sleep good night ânight nightâ
Richard:came out of his room to get some water and stopped at the kitchen he was going to turn around when a voice saidÂ
âI hear the date went very well his going to go for a second date im sure you won't like thatâ
(Casey)paul and Katie see i knew that if he got you out of his head he would be happy he really likes her I bet that you hate him for hurting you
(Richard)I would never hateâŚ
(Casey)really? I mean according to Till once someone hurts you,you pull awayÂ
(Richard)is that why you did it? Is that why you made him go on that date?
(Casey)no i didnt make him go on any date I just gave him a push and let's face it he will be more happy now you arent in his headÂ
(Richard)YOU LITTLE BITCH!!
Richard:was going to go for her but till step in front of himÂ
(Till)stop ⌠enough dont talk to her like thatÂ
(Richard)ever since she came into our lives and that kid shes been messing things up âgo upstairs â I looked at till and it was a warning look i walked out and punched a door frame and glass went everywhere as one of the picture frames fell i looked back at her and she had a smile on her face as till hugged her that bitch.
