I actually scouted an S-Rank! An escudogre. It was actually easier than the gigantes, which is A-Rank. (I do not want to know how many tries that gigantes took me.)

(I’m playing DQM Joker 2 Professional. I have the original in EN—in fact, it was the second DQ game I ever got—but the Pro version was never released outside Japan, so I haven’t been able to play it until now.)
Oh, yes, and one of his traits is “skilled at Sizz.” He does not have Sizz. Now that I have the staff of rebirth, I’m gonna have to give it to him, although I’ll be evolve-synthing him first. 1) He’s almost lv 20, so that’s less I’ll have to level him if I do it this way around; 2) I don’t even know if he’ll keep the trait or not.
