DQ9 Remake Wish List
All armor/weapons modeled. The DQ7 remake only had to do vocation class outfits and that didn’t manage to make it in so the concern is valid.
True Multiplayer via the Rappportal rather than Local-Only support.
DQVC was nice at the time I’m sure, but now many fans are locked out of the post-game quests without some hackery. The quests and special items still need to be available normally no matter how long it’s been since the game came out.
More customization options. Not many, just a few more.

Just started my island of only sentient talking owls of series that only have one or two sentient talking owls in their cast

Anyway this my first guy! My favorite Owl Guy! Hootingham Gore from Dragon Quest 9 Sentinels of the Starry Skies. I'm hoping that if he lives with a bunch of friendlier owls, he won't turn out so evil. It's like socialization but for talking owls.
And I added Hooty next. As a powerful bug worm owl, he'll be helpful in by providing a high energy, chaotic but friendlier profile flavor to the Owl Island soup
Blathers and Wan Shi Tong the Library Guardian are quieter, more knOWLedgeable owls, with a vast array of research at their disposal. Allowing them to create some sterner, more grounded flavor for the island owl city soup.
This is Big Mama from the Fox and the Hound. The only woman at the moment, the Sentient talking Owl gender balance is very much skewed I will have to track down some more lady Owls for the island soup which Big Mama gives warmth and a homemade feel to it.

i got dragon quest ix when it came out like 20 years ago and i never got into it until now. was too fucked up mentally to appreciate it before. i was just like "raaa change bad! change bad!" and never gave it a chance. it's such an old school dragon quest game in so many ways. the III of modern dq. i hope they remake it so more people can appreciate it on modern systems
