Although we were a bit disappointed as the #cradlemountain itself was cloaked in clouds when we were there, we totally loved #bushwalking around the #dovelakecircuit. It was such a rewarding walk with nature in all its glory, since its a temperate rainforest and hence green throughout the year. Also the boardwalk was really well laid. And the views, oh the views! We took the Dove Lake Circuit. We hiked beside this lake, across the ridge to the left, up the mountain to the peak, around Cradle Mountain and camped behind it. We returned on the ridge to the right and scaled some sheer Grade 4 terrain. When we started, Cradle Mountain was shrouded in mist. On the road there, the clouds were spitting and it was overcast. Dark clouds threatening rain.
