The brown colour of the water of the #dovelake seen here is not a trick, it's due to the tannin in the roots of #buttongrass that is ubiquitous in that area. We took the Dove Lake Circuit. We hiked beside this lake, across the ridge to the left, up the mountain to the peak, around Cradle Mountain and camped behind it. We returned on the ridge to the right and scaled some sheer Grade 4 terrain.
