Workout Day yesterday; a Kalim to give motivation on a run
Concepts/WIPs/releasing a vibe scribbles
I listened to The Dumb Song too hard and the concept of Kalim tearing up that last minute on the drums to a stupid degree (he's emotionally invested) rocked me. From this point in the song I had real visceral imagery/energy that I wish I could get down some day. Might at least try to throw the colors down.
To all my people who actually play drums, I am so sorry that you probably can't read my scribbles on these when it comes to grip technique, but PLEASE KNOW I CONSIDERED IT AND CAN READ MY OWN SKETCH 😭I can feel my close and dear drummers throwing something at me. I also dragged a bunch of footage around sat in position for a bit to try and feel things out. I had already gone through a few setups before I realized. I could. Check to see.
I also can see now. That I have not looked at it for a day. Why the perspective was killing me (I was so focused on the angle I messed up the proportions. That is a drum set for ants. I forgot to resize it.)
