Synopsis: THE SPARKLEY CLEAN FUNERAL SINGERS is a quirky, dysfunctional comedy involving alcoholism, Alzheimers, compulsive gambling, and the country-music-singing sister duo Junie and Lashley Lashley. Â After lead-singer Lashley Lashley gets drunk and crashes their tour bus into a pet store (sending many a goldfish to an early fish tank heaven), her ever-ambitious back-up-singing sister, Junie, gets them a gig as funeral singers with the hope that this unexpected career move will jump start their currently defunct singing career. Â In this comedy about two disparate and estranged sisters, funeral songs are tailor-made for the deceased and love hangs on by sheer force of heart and will.Â
