I’m going to end my Diz saga here until he responds (if he does; I’ve confirmed I 100% have the right email address though), but all I feel comfortable putting out is that we’ve found a social media account of his which contains a young photo of him. And in 2017, he posted none other than the Beatles. So at least the biggest band in the world hasn’t been ruined for him.

I liked Brian and I had a very close relationship with him for years like I have with Allen [Klein], because I'm not going to have some stranger running the scene, that's all. I like to work with friends. I was the closest with Brian, as close as you can get to somebody who lives sort of the fag life and you don't really know what they're doing on the side. But of the group, I was the closest to him and I did like him. He had great qualities and was good fun. He had a flair. He was a theatrical man rather than a businessman.
