There was a time I had a dog, Tobi.
She was a mixture of Dobermann and Rottweiler.
She looked something like this.
One evening, she started barking and as it didn’t stop for several minutes, I went down to the yard to see what was going on.
As I got outside the house, I heard that together with Tobi, several neighbor dogs were barking intensely.
I looked out into the street, but didn’t find anything and got back home thinking maybe the dogs were talking to each other.
5 minutes later, there was an earthquake.
Now, I don’t know which one of them was the smart one to feel the upcoming earthquake and warn the brothers, but I’m pretty sure at least one of them felt it before it happened.
I’m eliminating the coincidence because I’ve had Tobi for 8 years and that intense barking together with her buddies has never happened besides that night.
Moral of the story - Dogs don’t bark at nothing. If you hear the dog barking, even if you don’t find anything unusual, you can be pretty sure something’s going on, because boy most of them are really smart for a four-footed creature.
