I live in the city (Manhattan) and word is that Mackenzie still has an apartment here from her days doing theater, and she still comes here to audition etc. I know she has a place in L.A. now, but I guess she never gave up her apartment in NYC. Now it makes sense that why she's here so often and it's also the half way point between L.A. and the U.K. for her and Sam. Perfect place to meet and spend time together with some privacy. I was told the part of the city where it is but I won't share that
Hi Anon, thanks for the info. That makes perfect sense actually. I know there were a few past NY sightings of Sam and Mackenzie always walking in the same part of Manhattan. I just assumed they stayed at a hotel nearby, but now it would seem they were probably walking in that specific are because Mackenzie’s NYC apartment is nearby. Notice I’m not mentioning the area, and I won’t. I know when Mackenzie was newly married, she and her ex moved to NYC to do plays and work on music etc, and she still has a lot of friends there. If this is true, then this also means that Mackenzie has enough money to pay rent or mortgage both in L.A AND NYC. You can’t do that if you’re “poor” and being “kept” by your man. So there goes that myth Extreme Shippers like to throw around. And it’s nice to think that she’s making the most of auditioning and networking in BOTH Los Angeles and New York. Smart move. And also it is the perfect half way set up for two long distance relationship lovebirds to see each other OFTEN without having to worry about prying eyes at a hotel. BUT, although this info seems possible, I can’t substantiate it, Anon, so I’m posting it but I’m making it clear that I can’t confirm it as 100% true. Make of it what you will, people.
PS. Preemptive move: The next time Sam is in NYC and is seen at a hotel and ES froth “Purv’s Anon was wrong!” or “See, Sam in a hotel is proof he and Mackenzie aren’t a couple or why isn’t he staying at her place?” Um, celebs go to hotels for press junkets, parties, premieres, etc, and sometimes even if they live in the same city, if the studio provides cushy enough digs they choose to stay in the already paid for hotel just for fun. So don’t come at me with your shizz, haters.
