Women Make Film: A New Road Movie Through Cinema (TV Series) by Mark Cousins (Episode 1)
(about Brief Encounters by Kira Muratova)
THE REMEMBERER
An amazing documentary, which will be shown in Los Angeles & New York in theaters as a pre-selection for Oscars 2020.
Please share with anyone who lives there (or attend the screenings yourself) so that we fill up the movie theaters and gather a lot of movement, to reach the Oscars and share this important message with the entire world.
“We are here to make Heaven and Earth reunite again as One.”
Got to screen Project ñ and meet the co-founder, Denise Soler Cox. The #documenary had many similarities to my story as an #immigrant from the (so-called) #Philippines. What resonated was not being #american or #filipino enough and getting shit talked about you by your own folks when trying to connect to the culture. I may not be able to speak #tagalog great #pangasinan or #bicolano at all but can write our ancient script #baybayin like a MF and can make our #tattoo tools. Check it out @projectenye for more info #projectenye PS: Ain'y my shirt dope AF???? ✊🏽ᜐᜓᜄᜓᜇ᜴ ᜋᜅ ᜁᜈ᜴ᜇᜒᜌᜓ

365 Movies in 365 Days: Walking from Munich to Berlin (1927)
This year I’m trying to watch one movie every day of the year, with the provision that the movie be no longer than 36.5 minutes long. I’ll be selecting movies randomly from this list that’s already way too long, but I still welcome suggestions for short films. Title: Walking from Munich to Berlin Release Date: April 28. 1927 Director: Oskar Fischinger Synopsis (via Letterboxd): In 1927,…
