Last year, my birthday is memorable. I didn't really plan on doing anything on my day as usual.
We talked about going somewhere a day before but not at mountains. It rained, it rained hard for us to cancel.
Then the next day, i asked my cousin do you want to go to the mountains of Pangasinan. He agreed and we did go.
It rained hard too going there. But nature somehow let us see the beauty of that place. We ate Lugaw on the top and that's it. Took photos and go down again. Took us whole day. Driving there is crazy but fun because it's scenic.

TRAVEL ESSAY
Hundred Islands Adventure 🏝️

📍 Pangasinan, Hundred Islands
It was a sunny morning, and I woke up to the sound of ocean waves. It was such a busy day, my boat friends were already being prepared by their drivers. There were so many tourists waiting in line to get their ticket to ride the boat—so many were eager to explore the islands. I've never seen Pangasinan so lively before. My driver came and prepared the essential equipment for the passengers—a life vest, checked my engine, and body. My driver gave me a thumbs up and told me that I'm ready.

I saw a family of five getting their tickets—everyone was excited except for one person. It was a teenage boy, and he seemed nervous and scared—maybe he hadn't experienced riding a boat. To my surprise, they were the family that was going to ride me. My driver made sure that they wear their life vests and they have their belongings in a safe place, he also double checked my engine and myself before we set sail.
After checking, my driver started my engine—I was roaring! As we passed by many different islands, I noticed that the boy's nervous expression turned into fascination. I saw him taking pictures of every island he saw. The pictures were breathtaking! He captured the blue sky, clouds, and islands in such perfection—he must be a photographer!

After all that, there was an island with a tall mountain that had the statue of Jesus on top of it. At that moment, I felt my heart pumping. I wanted to grow legs and explore the island as well. At last, on the final island, they took a lunch break with my driver—they ate delicious seafood! I was really glad because he was tired and hungry at that time.

After a tiring day, we were able to go back safely. It was so fun yet so tiring at the same time. I'm really glad that they enjoyed—especially the nervous little lad. Seeing them happy and satisfied made me happy as well. I had so much fun, I got to see so much. Everything was so beautiful and mesmerizing. I hope that they will be able to visit this place again and choose me as their ride once again.
