And Doc was most vocal about wanting Semo as his pilot IIRC. He was the one who spoke first, suggesting it. He was the only one to ever call out Z’s “I have 2 pilots but I’m jealous when one bonds with other tobots” bullshit. And he backed up and respected Semo’s boundaries when Semo hesitated! Green flag king respecting a no and backing off without pushing... oh my goshhh!!!

Semo clearly cared about Doc (he cares about everyone). I do firmly believe the only reason he didn’t accept Doc’s offer was not because he couldn’t handle the responsibility of being a full-time pilot to 2 tobots like the writers made it out to be. I think it is because he knew Z would never accept that, and he couldn’t live with such a huge change if he had to be left by Z to be with Doc. If that makes sense

Then, of course, they had to take Doc away from Semo and made them almost never interact again because the writers just hate Semo having a healthy relationship apparently.
