[Date redacted] I- god, I still don't really know what happened last night-

So we got to the bar, found a place to sit. My coworker- Ben- started talking about the band that was going to play, ordered drinks, introduced his girlfriend. She seemed pleasant enough, also liked the local punk band that was getting ready to play. Normal. It wasn't until about halfway through the band's set that things... Happened.

[Date redacted] I finally stopped at that odd shop, had to wait until I had the next day off due to the hours of it. There wasn't music playing, which made the whole place a little unsettling. Half the lights didn't seem to work, and with it already dark outside that didn't help how... Weird the place felt. The shelves and bins were lined with enough varied objects that I was reminded of a thrift store- and in some sections I wondered if I had walked into some new age store.

The owner nearly gave me a heart attack coming from some other part of the shadowed store. I don't even remember their name, even when they introduced themself- they weren't wearing a name tag either. I blame the poor lighting for their eyes looking purple. From the owner's rambling, it sounded like business was slow. Likely not a place to find friends- especially given there was no space for even a small group of people to loiter. No one else came in while I was there either. I didn't buy anything- but one of the trinkets on a shelf was... Uncomfortably familiar when I looked at it. I don't know if the owner's comment about some of the items being haunted was a general statement or they had noticed me looking at the thing. I hope it was just a general statement.

Nós ,é, perguntado,o que fizemos de bom?! O que realmente fizemos de bom usando a mediunidade?! Já que a mediunidade não é pra se expor, nem exibir com os dons mediúnicos...e sim quando alguém nos pede ajuda e ela (a ajuda) vem do plano mais alto de Deus.

[Date redacted] I've finally settled into my new place- real lucky to find somewhere with such cheap rent, especially on short notice. Yeah, I'm a little further from where I've found work, but I can't really complain. The other options were more expensive, and later openings than I wanted. And after everything- well, let's not focus on the past. This is meant to be a fresh start. In a new city. I'll need to make new friends, sure. But that shouldn't be too hard.
