i have been utterly OBSESSED with DanMarch over the past few days. it's eaten up my brain, focus, attention, EVERYTHING. i couldn't be happier.

SERIOUSLY, all the fanfics I've read, fanarts I've liked... Evernight is extremely gorgeous & I want a body build exactly like Dan Heng Permansor Terrae & damn it, I ADORE THESE TWO!

No lie, does anyone else think that Dialyn has maybe the best design in ALL of Zenless? I fell in love with her ON SIGHT!

I’m gonna get some heat for this one, oh boy…

but someone has to say the truth of it all.

As much as I enjoy your stuff, AyyLmao, I have to respectfully say that… you’re just not getting it here.

1. The skins are just AWFUL. Pomni literally looks NO BETTER (worse even) than the models used by all the softcore NSFW content farmers 😂 & Jax is just the definition of uncanny 😮‍💨 They should be SO MUCH BETTER! Considering the fact that GLITCH employs UE5 for their animations, it’s kinda ridiculous that they couldn’t get it right for a COLLAB WITH THE BIG IP OF THE COMPANY THAT CREATED IT! Then again, this is a company so pathetic their own country couldn’t even screen the so-called “finale” to their biggest success so far for a DAMN while 🤨

2. GLITCH has become a sellout. That’s the truth no one wants to accept (including me, trust 🙏), but yeah… the modern web/indie animation community props up GLITCH on the mentality of “They’re NOT like stinky DISNEY‼️” when they literally have been copying off of Disney’s playbook. Buying out everything in entertainment? GLITCH Presents (personally, I hope they just… shut that down. I really hate the idea that GLITCH thinks they can just get away with something like that 🫤). Forcing down the hammer on fan projects that didn’t deserve it? That one TADC dating simulator (not the one you might’ve seen around recently) & the MD analog horror made by @Unknowingly., the guy behind that AWESOME Godzilla analog horror “The Man in the Suit.” Constantly shoving merch down our throats on some “IT WILL SUPPORT US 😁😁😁😁😁😁” crap? FREAKING GAMEOVERSE COULDN’T ESCAPE THAT IN ITS PILOT!! & of course, Disney whoring itself to every IP under the sun? Yep. Exactly what’s happening here.

3. One major gripe I have with GLITCH is that they operate on a frustrating “TRAILBLAZER (any of you like HSR?) OF INDIE” mindset. They’re not the first to do this kinda thing. You even mention it with other indie games having already come to Fortnite! & even if we are specifying on shows… so what? It’s not like any web/indie series is obligated to do what GLITCH is doing here. Trailblazing =/= Trackmaking. If only they understood that…

4. I’m sorry if I come off as rude, but “I’d rather take an indie show in Fortnite than some random celebrity or brand any day of the week” is the PERFECT EXAMPLE of the very worst thing about the GLITCH, indie animation, & modern western animation communities at large: their sense of superiority. Maybe consider the fact that TADC might just be SOME RANDOM BRAND to other people who aren’t aware of it or don’t care for it as much as you & your community!? Those other collabs that you’re hand waving with that statement are equally as valuable to Fortnite as TADC. TADC isn’t special in Fortnite, it’s just another collab. & like those at GLITCH & Epic who probably worked hard on this (credit where credit’s due, I am NOT going after the artists behind this ❤), all of the other Fortnite collabs have real effort put into them! They CANNOT be tossed away as “random!” The artists over at miHoYo worked hard on bringing Kafka & Blade over to the game. But under this lane of thinking, they’re just a RANDOM BRAND. Same thing with the Sabrina Carpenter collab; I guess the artists over at Epic Games used their energy on a RANDOM CELEBRITY. I hate the way that this community views all other forms of animation as being less artistically valuable & deserving of support. I can GUARANTEE you some people in these fandoms have probably dismissed that AWESOME-looking new Disney show “Dragon Striker” as being “mainstream slop.” The NERVE to stop that low & insult another piece of art like that… An independently-made piece of art & any other piece of art have the SAME LEVEL OF PASSION PUT INTO THEM! I HATE this mentality so much. Ugh…

5. Can we all please, PLEASE just stop painting those who are critical of GLTICH as being “fake fans” or stupid or doing something wrong?? Most of the people who have raised these critiques are probably still passionate fans of this company or AT LEAST one of their shows. It devalues real discussion around this company by saying that stuff like not liking a skin or actually challenging their indie status (which, like, THERE IS A POINT at which you stop being indie…) is invalid. Seriously!

I don’t mean to hate on you or ANYBODY here that may disagree with me! Please, if you think I might’ve missed the forest for the trees, feel free to yap about it 👍 But I have to be blunt here: I’m not a fan of your perspective on this situation, because it’s captures EXACTLY why the modern web/indie animation community sucks. My opinion? This collab is lame as hell, GLITCH is a massive fraud these days, & the backlash is justified.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be streaming Dragon Striker & falling deeper & DEEPER in love with Yao Guang from HSR. TADC’s gonna end in a couple of days anyway, right? 🫥
